Hello Sir, I am from Madhya Pradesh. My query is : On 22/10/1969 my grandfather given GPA to his Relative who was Barrister and after 6 months my grandfather expired on 21/05/1970. Also GPA holder died on 22/05/2002 . Now in 2021 GPA holder's son has filed civil suit on our property on behalf of that GPA. Is GPA valid STILL ?
A power of attorney becomes invalid in many ways including, expiry of the principal or the agent. In your case, the POA became invalid the moment your grandfather expired.
