He's very open, for sure. Harry Styles is similar, although Western pop stars don't interact quite so heavily ie: live moments etc. Harry often gets overwhelmed by reactions of fans. I kinda see these two in a similar light. Both from massive Boy Bands, watched them grow up in to beautiful men. 😊

Jk is so soft and squishy on the inside. Very sweet and tender hearted. Yoongis dad call him Soondoongie , meaning pure and gentle. It fits him well. He is easily moved by his emotions, and seems so loving toward the members and Army.

ARMY releases a song for BTS every June 13th, for their anniversary. This year's song is called Dream Team. I don't know if you watch other reactors, but Jordan from the reaction channel "Jared & Jordan" has a part in the song. Love Letters was last year's song. Another one of my favorites was the 2020 ARMY song, "7 Reasons". In their song from 2020, "Bulletproof: The Eternal", BTS asked us why we stayed with them. The 2020 song is a response to that question. There's also a line in this song that references that question, when the singer says, "You're the reason why I stayed." Also, if you watch JK closely, you can see when he broke. It's at the line, "Til '25 we'll be waiting for you." As much as they love us, they're always afraid that we're going to leave them. It honestly breaks my heart.

It was really sad because she was doing a fundraiser and donating any profits and everyone had volunteered their time and talents to do this. A true labor of love where she opened it up to ARMY as well to participate. So when the guys finally saw it and loved it we were all so excited for her.
If you look closer you'll notice that when he gets extra emotional is the part where they're saying goodbye to Jin and the song says we'll be waiting for you. The norm in K-pop is that when the members of a group enlist, the fans move on to the next new group. I think that's actually been a (subconscious?) concern of his. Also, there's an ARMY saying that goes "Jungkook joined because of RM but he stayed because of Jin". JK was only 14 when he joined them in the dorm and he was often homesick. Jin took him under his wing (got him up, packed his school lunches, etc.) and even brought him to spend time with his own family as JK's family lived too far away for him to visit. And despite the actual age difference they were basically the same mental age so that worked out as well (check out one of the JinKook compilations - they're so funny and adorable together. 😂) So I personally think those factors combined - assurance and Jin's send-off - were what finally brought him over the teary edge so to speak. 💜

Yes. It's not parasocial, because, by definition, parasocial relationships are one way. What we have is a healthy, loving interdependence. They are as emotionally attached and interactive with us as we are with them. Not that parasocial relationships are bad either. The internet misunderstands what parasocial even means. It means to have an emotional connection to someone who you don't know/doesn't know or acknowledge you or who doesn't exist. So parasocial connections are what allow us to connect with fictional characters and enjoy movies, books, theater and song. It also allows us to have empathy for others and helps society function and is how charity works, etc.
For the last half hour or so I watched the Love Letters MV followed by JK then Jimin then RM reacting to this video. The guys and Army have such an amazing relationship of mutual love and support. Never have I seen an artist at BTS who use their platform to create a community of self love and friendship even family without intentions that it would become so huge. I even love how they give their concerts while in person but online for us who cannot travel to see them. They are truly amazing beings.
The love on his face as he says thank you is absolutely everything. It doesn’t make any logical sense that someone on the other side of the globe who doesn’t even know I exist could make me feel so loved but that’s the magic. I’ve felt more love in my life in my three years as ARMY than I did in the 20 years before that. I am just one of the countless ARMYs who can say with complete sincerity: BTS saved me. They reawakened my soul and brought me back to myself. I am eternally grateful.

We'd spammed the live stream comments with the song name so he'd look it up it was an amazing day. Jungkook is always so intune with ARMY he really love us.
I was in that livestream and he was taking karaoke requests as usual and we were spamming the chat with the most recent (at that time) fan song from ARMY. So, he looked it up. After that we started spamming other fan song titles and he reacted to a total of three different ones. He was so moved and impressed. He said "what group has fans who do this for them? I love you guys. ARMY is the best." He then asked for a physical CD of all the fan songs and was lowkey mad he didn't know about them sooner, because ARMY has been dropping fan songs every year at Festa, just like BTS does. When he was laughing and pointing it was because the chat was nothing but a sea of purple hearts. That's why he said everything is purple, because he also was wearing purple and had his purple mood lights on.

I came into the fandom because of ARMY and that channel was a big reason ...it is actualy an honor to share my "stanship" with this people
I was in that livestream and he was taking karaoke requests as usual and we were spamming the chat with the most recent (at that time) fan song from ARMY. So, he looked it up. After that we started spamming other fan song titles and he reacted to a total of three different ones. He was so moved and impressed. He said "what group has fans who do this for them? I love you guys. ARMY is the best."
He then asked for a physical CD of all the fan songs and was lowkey mad he didn't know about them sooner, because ARMY has been dropping fan songs every year at Festa, just like BTS does. When he was laughing and pointing it was because the chat was nothing but a sea of purple hearts. That's why he said everything is purple, because he also was wearing purple and had his purple mood lights on.
