Dude... holy shit BALLS !!! Now thats a paint job !! Uggghhh... That is one super unique amazing V4 to sell. Can't be easy... however, the thought of another track day spill is to hard to bear.

@@oneL My 1299 puts down around 170hp I think. Just exhausting holding on lap after lap and Im in great shape !! LOL Over 200HP is brutal. Young mans sport !

Please build me a paginale v4. I am 62 but I would ride it, take care of it & give it back to you when I’m done. I am in USA. I used to race in the 70’s & 80’s I think I deserve it. I never won a contest nor any “Bids” on wrecked ones but that is probably good. It looks like a lot of work

some guys might be a bit nervous not seeing torque wrenches used, especially on brakes if this is for racing, dosent bother me though, experienced hands can feel torque unless its an engine build

Mate you can get locktight in a different style that can't drip, looks like a glue sticks used to use in school lasts heaps longer and easier to use. What's the name of that fluro red colour on the Duc @ 1:15:05 ?

Hello, in french it is « plat de résistance ». Just a question : why do not use several quick release screws to attach the fairings ?
lol! Hi Cedric, I’ve used the nice Ducati fairing screws as they look heaps cleaner, but dsuz fasteners would make more sense for racing….

bike looks great. but which fairing was the genuine one as the one you crashed looked like a 2018/19. The fairing that finished of was a newer model with the extra vents and wings just curious as i would like to know if the newer faing would fit my 2018 model
Hi Widge, you’re correct, I crashed a 2018, the newer fairings also fit! For race fairings it’s easy, but for fitting newer (winged) OEM fairings for street use you need to buy the Ducati adapter bolt kit, about $95

What was actually weight of oem subframe. You added light and fairings to total so not an apples to apples comparison between oem and aftermarket subframe. I have oem on my race v4s. Would change if significant change but doubt it is material. I also race a new r1 and the oem and db subframes are roughly same weight so assume it is the same for v4.
Yeah by itself the change is negligible it’s really only once you start adding all that extra plastic etc on the makes a huge difference. I’m doing another one now so I’ll double check it in the upcoming vid…
@@oneL Thank you. Also I’m going to order the Vandemon high mount like you put on bike. I have never seen Vandemon exhaust in the States so your video was first exposure to it. I started to get the akrapovic high mount but this is a race bike so can’t justify 8k usd for an exhaust if I have a crash.

Hello, I congratulate you on the channel and the transformations, I wanted to ask you since in this video you can see that it is a Panigale v4 2018/19 and you put the fairings of the 2022/23 on it. - The question is if it needs any modification or does it fit both in one model and the other, thank you very much.-
THey all fit you may just need the adapter if you’re looking to use OEM fairings

looking for ducati dievel 2012 new motor, were in u. s. can i get one?
I crashed my 22 s1000rr last summer and the insurance totalled it cause it need a fuel tank, fairings kit, forks and guage cluster the frame, sub frame l, rear wheel, engine radiator all that were completely untouched, then they wouldn't let me biy it back i was even more p**sed off! They said it was a hazard if i put it back together! Fck allstate insurance

You better start hiring someone to do that paint work brother, that DOES NOT LOOK GOOD You spent all that money on this bike only to fuck it all up with a shit finish. The most important part. So this is all it takes to be “a bike builder” is the ability to bolt on parts, but when it comes to the actual parts that require skill, you don’t need to be able to do it, or just say fuck it..? That paint job destroyed the whole project. You need to take that thing to a professional and have it fixed

@oneL everyone hating on the paint job. People are so bitter, for someone that is not a professional painter, and in a garage, you did a great job. Light Flatt and another coat of clear, then cut and polish and it will look awesome, most of these people wouldn't be able to even lay the lines.
