♥️This song stayed #1 on the Rap🌆City's top ten when it debuted back in 1993. We literally ran home from school to catch the 4:00pm exclusive episode because if you missed it back then it wasn't coming back on until the next day. That's crazy to think this was 30 years ago and it still sounds just as fresh now as it did back then. This was true hip hop in it's finest hour and that's a fact. This was a great reaction video PrettyPooh and I know you'll keep them coming.👍😁😎👌

    FUN FACTS.
    1) Do-It-All (The first guy rhyming) is now a City councilman in Jersey.
    2) Marley Marl was their producer
    3) Redman was their first/original DJ (Yup THAT Redman)

Uniqueness and originality is what you have noticed doing these reactions others have noticed it as well. Biting another's one's style wasn't allowed nor tolerated that was one of the many rules to the foundation of hip-hop.

That season of rap, EPMD also released their track "Crossover" which spoke of the potential fall of real hip hop. Hip hop went pop after Hollywood recruited such acts as L.L. Cool J. Big Daddy Kane. Also, West Coast rappers as Tone-Loc, Sir-Mix Alot and others surprisingly crossed over to pop radio. What a shock that was.

What happened to HipHop groups ? Back then there were so many groups, somewhere along the line the record labels decided that they were only signing solo artists because it's so much easier to control one person instead of a group.

Hi, I'm Colombian! You have no idea of the impact and nostalgia that this type of rap from the 90s generates in those of us who are part of hip hop in Latin America... However, to me and many fans of 90s hip hop in the US, many doubts and questions arise.
Why nowadays those who listen to rap from this era, or rather "trap" are no longer interested in these rhythms and this style? I see videos of rappers reacting and many don't know anything about this era and its artists, it seems strange to me, as if trap had completely separated from hip hop?
I feel that this music today is no longer listened to by the rappers out there! I even feel like they don't care about it or like it at all.... It's very strange.
