Arthit was always shy and always hid his feelings but he took all the chances he could get to meet Kong. He finished work late but still tried to come to the campus just to see his bf last time, he was busy but still took a long drive to the beach to meet up with Kong in this episode. His love really came from this gaze and actions rather than words. On the other hand, Kong took care of him with small romantic gestures like cooked for him, woke him up in the morning, tucked him into bed and showered him with affection to make sure that he knew he's loved. There was nothing big in this series, no rich boy falling in love with poor boy, no popular boy falling in love with a nerd (even though Kongpob was considered as pretty well-liked because he's nice and good-looking, but his level of popularity was very realistic like people gossiped about him and complimented on his look but there was no screaming fangirl everywhere he went), no crazy public confession, no dramatic conflict, no irrational jealousy over stupid things... It really felt less like a fictional show and more like a documentary, like a piece or someone else's life that we just got to watch. Both of them felt real and relatable, like you could really meet someone like that irl. That's why it's so special and different from other BLs. It makes you feel like you're a part of the story, not just watching it. I doubt there would be a day i would love a BL more than Sotus. This has already been my 5th time coming back to this and I am still feeling so much.

They have a teasing pull and push game, where Arthit usually loses which Arthit complained about. Look at the drinking exchange, it was dangerous. Arthit teased Kong and Kong gave it back not losing eye contact, drinking from same bottle (look at him pausing before wrapping his mouth around it, like he is showing a claim) and then he tilts his head towards the bed. Arthit...my poor child...escaped by making random talks. With this couple, you guys need to look at subtle movements and their body language while keeping in mind of their personalities. It's what makes it special, don't compare them to other couples...heck it took M three years to confess to May and ask her out.

As a guy with a boyfriend in Southeast Asia, I can say that SOTUS is the closest depiction of M2M relationship here. I watched other BL series, and they are too unrealistic for me. What they show as normalized M2M relationships are nice, and we want them, but they don't really depict what really happens. Also, SOTUS does not just show the intimate scenes, but it's heavily implied that they are having sex and all. When Kongpob was teasing Arthit in the bathroom, the next scene was their toothbrushes. They slept together that night, and mostly likely, they BANGED. My bf and I have been together for almost 6 years now, and we still act the same way Kong and Arthit do, even when we're alone.

I dont know why a lot of people demand more kissing scenes in this series. Isn't it that's what made this series very special? Waiting for them to kiss for a very long time and we only get a nose to nose or a very short one, yet it feels so rewarding to see them do that. Every kiss is so special and meaningful. Unlike in other BL series that seeing them kiss does not emit any emotion at all because we've seen it many times and seeing them kiss is just a normal routine for them already.
What you love about Kong and Arthit is their effort to keep their relationship warm, the effort to give time to one another dispite their hectic schedule is just so amazing. No wonder sotus is one of the best BL series ever released. ☺️ So realistic and relatable!

As a guy with a boyfriend in Southeast Asia, I can say that SOTUS is the closest depiction of M2M relationship here. I watched other BL series, and they are too unrealistic for me. What they show as normalized M2M relationships are nice, and we want them, but they don't really depict what really happens.
Also, SOTUS does not just show the intimate scenes, but it's heavily implied that they are having sex and all. When Kongpob was teasing Arthit in the bathroom, the next scene was their toothbrushes. They slept together that night, and mostly likely, they BANGED.
My bf and I have been together for almost 6 years now, and we still act the same way Kong and Arthit do, even when we're alone.

I don't know why you guys complain about their intimacy. I mean, do you even understand the characters tho? Arthit is a shy person when it come to intimacy, so the nose rubbing is already so hard for him because he's not familiar with making the first move. So have them kiss fairly often is kinda out of character and not realistic. Also, i can see pretty clearly that they go for the plot and not the fanservice, so they don't show "hot scenes" on screen, how do you guys know that they don't do it? I dont know why a lot of people demand more kissing scenes in this series. Isn't it that's what made this series very special? Waiting for them to kiss for a very long time and we only get a nose to nose or a very short one, yet it feels so rewarding to see them do that. Every kiss is so special and meaningful. Unlike in other BL series that seeing them kiss does not emit any emotion at all because we've seen it many times and seeing them kiss is just a normal routine for them already.
