    so nice of you guys to bring pontus back in the game, just waiting a turn to vomit out your hands and he would be out of the game

    Finally Sméagol! Shame to see it didn't work out all that well but still happy to see it.
    A few questions on the list, is there a particular reason for not including Dúnedain Rangers for additional triggers (and the potential of going kind of infinite)? Also on a similar note, are cards like Bombadil's Song and Sam's Desperate Rescue just bad enough that even with the extra ring tempts they aren't worth it or is it more the assumption Sméagol isn't always in play making them far more situational?

      Dúnedain Rangers . I missed that creature. That should be in there.

    Would’ve kept that no land hand in tivit. Although I don’t know the list so well. So maybe it’s different.

      Interesting. I would love to know why you would kept that hand mate? Just so I may think of the line that you are thinking of in the future 🙂

    • @TemKhan

      @@Joeled_Lotus down to 6 with basically two tutors. No players on null rod effects. You’d of had 5 mana turn two. Assuming you don’t draw a land either of the first two turns. That’s not bad tbh. It’s definitely risky as many hands can be. But that hand was significantly better then the 5 hand. ( ofc no way of knowing that.) def can see you winning that game with that hand

      @@TemKhanyeah I had that in my mind. But the problem is that one tutor is giving my opponent a tutor which I do not like at all. The other tutor is exiling my deck until I find what I need. Even if I can stop at any time, it could get me into a position when I'm exiling wilcons which I also doesn't like.
      And what am I looking for. I'm last in turn order so a turn 2 rhystic wasn't looking that great and as I said I'm not on Ad Nauseam. Else that would me great 🙂
      If you see another line that I could had tutor for, please let me know 😀

      @@Joeled_Lotus honestly you’re looking for any value piece, which as a tivit deck should have quite a few or mana to cast tivit which could be done in many ways. You’d give the wishclaw to the green black player. Last in turn order to you and I see no possible way of winning that early with what they had. Although personally I would’ve risked it with the tainted pact. There’s so many hits in the deck, honestly who cares if you exile Oracle…. You want your tivit. Tivit wins the game, not Oracle. Oracle is jsut a short cut haha

      @@Joeled_Lotus either way, not a perfect keep and certainly could fail. Still significantly better then what the 5 was.

    The thing with cedh is ppl use the same cards, tends to get boring and repetitive. Lotr would be more interesting playing in a theme or just draft

      It is true. Less Commander dependencies and more combo packages with the colours we have. For my Weds night pod that does mid and high power games, I just played Esika with LOTR's legendary tribal. It's almost like Set Constructed Commander. Hella fun.

    Bro no idea why you would mulligan that first hand with lands. Rock, and fish. Nuts. You way over think it..... lmao. Then you go to 5 and its way worse.

    • @joliveira520
      @joliveira520 Год назад +2

      1st hand is better when looking back in hindsight but I think going for a more explosive hand, especially in 1st seat, is worth the mulligan.

    • @jeffe2267
      @jeffe2267 Год назад +1

      Mulliganing a mid 7 card hand is better than keeping it, especially when you get 1 free mulligan. Just because it didn't work out, it doesn't mean it was the wrong choice.
