It is very dangerous to add/remove/touch the disc while the battery pack is connected. Always remove the battery before touching the discs.

The angle grinder is perfect for trimming hooves, horse hooves, with a Werkman disk, which looks like a wood carving disc but is specific for hooves. Hoof trimmers who use angle grinders have a hard time finding a tool like this. The more common 4 inch grinders are too big and too noisy and scare the animals. The Hoof Boss is marketed specifically for hooves, but Bosch is the best in my view. Living in the US, I ordered mine from abroad, as they weren't being sold in the US.
A touch up trim requires one battery, but more extensive work, like overgrown walls and bad dorsal angles might end up requiring two 2.0 batteries for just one horse. You can even turn the grinder on its side for targeted overgrown bars. The rasp is still handy for a smooth and level finishing touch, and to sight evenness between heels and overall of the walls.

Just bought one, when cutting i find starting the cut at the far side of the material and pulling the tool towards you give you more control than pushing away from you.

Of course, you can lock the switch easily. Push them up till end and at the end press them down. Done. Best quality, best choice. German Tools.

How can I use this for grinding down bumps and bulges? I intend to use this for hoof trimming of horses. I need a small tool like this that is quiet to not scare the horses. Larger angle grinders use flap discs, which work well for this purpose. How can I do it with this mini Bosch?

    • @MobileGedas

everything is the same as larger angle grinders. only here the discs are smaller.

@@MobileGedas Do you know how to find a disc for this grinder? It seems to me that the 3 inch discs are all rolloc? I am so puzzled as to how to find a sanding disc that will work on this grinder.

yeah right, my experience, I bought one of those parkside, work 3 times, each time i have to work with it, the tool turn of cause it was very hot when working more than 3 minutes, send it to the store, bought the bosch, couldn be happier, works perfectly, normally more than 10 minutes and it won't turn off. YES parkside seems to be quicker, but life isn't a sprint, is a marathon, and Bosch costs more but you pay what you got, PARKSIDE is complete garbage.
