In 0:56 the column rebar inside the foundation are wrong acording to ACI, they have to go to the inside

The concrete cover requirement for the concrete plinth which is cast against the earth is = 75 mm, which is greater than the concrete cover required for the column of the suspended slab above the ground FFL ( the cover is 50 mm), how did you manage to model the rebars of the column above the Ground FFL to be cranked in and flush with dowels coming from the plinth below.
I think this will make all sorts of problems for the detailing of the joints above, and will also increase the concrete cover for some elements, this will lower the neutral axis and will jeopardize the serviceability of the concrete caused by large concrete covers.

Thanks for your time and appreciate for sharing your point of view. The maximum cover of 75mm you mentioned is recommended for concrete exposed to chemical contaminated soil. For that case the rebar can be provided with higher cover below Natural Ground Level and cover shall be reduced above NGL.
For nominal condition, the code recommending value is between 25mm to 50mm for Beams, so accordingly we can provide our rebar cover to avoid the clashes in joints.
Let me know your/anyone thought about this. Thanks!
