I'm writing this to help you continue on your journey to evolution. The dirty trash pile and the dysfunctional people are simply props. At the same time they are undergoing their own journey. That is the beauty of the creation. You can move away you can disassociate yourself with the people. However whatever energy it is that you're trying to escape will find you again. These principles are much too rosy. "Your mind creates your reality" is very limited, because we're talking about the miniscule amount of conscious mental habit and the larger amount of unconscious mental habit, what people who don't understand the unconscious is that the majority of it REMAINS unconscious. You have no idea how much data your brain forces you to not pay attention to otherwise you'd be incapacitated; whether it's past, present, or potential future data. All the so called power you have to change circumstances, are already not rooted in your own conscious will, that's the illusion... there is already a momentum of unconscious content (let alone externals) that lays the groundwork whether the choice is even made to improve one's circumstances or not. No, if you assume that no singular person is an island, which is true, as we are all just different forms of energy withing the same larger system. That is true even by todays conventional physics. Anyone interested in learning more should look at Blake's "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell." You have no idea how much data your brain forces you to not pay attention to otherwise you'd be incapacitated; whether it's past, present, or potential future data. All the so called power you have to change circumstances, are already not rooted in your own conscious will, that's the illusion... there is already a momentum of unconscious content (let alone externals) that lays the groundwork whether the choice is even made to improve one's circumstances or not. Not to mention this assumes the human being is an island, that you're a mind in a vat stuck in your own universe, which is precisely the illusion... that the individual self is self-contingent, alienated, solipsistically singular. It isn't. What hermetic musings like this keep getting wrong, is they keep collapsing the wave of vast interconnected mirroring, into an all-powerful individual at the micro level. If the Macro/Micro patterning is true, then it's true that just like there is no individual will coalescing the formation of galaxies because of the innumerable processes of physics and natural laws, then there is no individual will doing the same at the micro level. The hubris and psychosis of the human being is thinking we are a law unto ourselves. Everything you create for yourself are still contingent of innumerable more things beyond your conscious will and attention.

No, if you assume that no singular person is an island, which is true, as we are all just different forms of energy withing the same larger system. That is true even by todays conventional physics. But beyond that, if we are all part of the same system of energy then effectively we are all one, or at least aspects of the same whole. Thus what we cultivate within our singular selves we cultivate in others. Both with tangible culture and social structures, but possibly also energetically. So, it isn't the hermetic principles that keep getting it wrong, it seems, to me at least, that it is the interpretation of those that wish for a singular personal use of these ideas.

In my life, the discovery and subsequent slow drip understanding of "As above so below," has been the single most thought provoking truth I've ever encountered.
Anyone interested in learning more should look at Blake's "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell." The principals this video examines are fleshed out further there by tying them to and re-conceptualizing our understanding of "heaven" and "hell". In the simplest terms, Heaven is without friction (without matter), hell is friction (with matter). Time is a function of matter. Without matter, there is no friction, "things" are instantaneous, timeless. "God" is timeless. Our material vessels are inherently evil in this way (don't confuse with conventional meaning of evil), however our conception from the divine makes us inherently "good" as well. Enough quotes? Lol...back to work for me

Its unfortunate that the notions of above and below have been so misunderstood. In the creation drama of the Old Testament, there are several references to above and below and it would seem as though the entire seven day cycle were a descent from 'up there in the vast infinite, to down here, this earthy ground that sprouts shrubs and trees, fruits and seeds etc. And in a sense it is meant to be regarded as a kind of 'fall' from the more rarified, subtle, states (properties of heaven, the waters ABOVE the expanse) down below into heavier, increasingly coarse states of matter. But as we now regard the cosmos through the lense of astrophysics, there is no such thing as 'above and below' or 'up and down', these concepts are not compatible with the cosmic model of revolving spheres and circular orbits where UP is actually OUT and DOWN is actually IN..
Despite this problematic esoteric puzzle, the 'idea' of up and down is persistent because that is how we experience the world around us and our relationship to this planetary habitat. the vertical trajectory is somehow important to us still. The concepts of ascending and descending are like antithetical movements and are aligned in are minds as positive and negative, good is up, bad is down. This is why even some of tbe more intelligent people can find themselves hanging on to the old religious rhetoric of a 3000 year old flat earth that was created in a few days. I think it is important when we contemplate the Hermetic axiom, 'As above, so below' that we try and comprehend this idea as referring to concentric scale and not simply a direction in space. We have expansion and contraction dynamics and we also have polar influences, the push and pull of magnetic and electro-magnetic forces that are present above us, around us, within us and below us.
Electrons don't "rotate around the nucleus". That was a misconception. Electrons hold random superpositions around the nucleus as wave functions in different energy states, or "harmonics".
