should I make a separate Instagram for the podcast, or should i post all info/promo/links on my personal page? would you rather the podcast stuff be separate, or would you rather only have to follow one account?
One account! I find it’s hard to keep up with so many accounts for my fav people bc insta doesn’t even show all posts anymore

First of all SOOO excited for the podcast!! As far as ig promo, from a marketing perspective I would keep them separate and use your stories to just funnel people to the podcast page! Only thinking this bc your page currently has a certain look and feel. Personally I plan to follow and listen so it makes no difference to me if it’s a separate page or not :)
I think together for now us best! Will help bring more followers & alert all followers constantly. I’d follow both, but others might not. I only follow podcast IGs where I listen to every episode, which is like 2 of the 100s podcasts I listen to

you prioritizing your mental health over tiktok is genuinely very inspiring and humbling. it's so common to want to put our health aside for success & money, but i've been noticing this wave/movement of decreasing social media, quitting corporate 9-5s, etc with a pay decrease for the sake of our health and sanity and I LOVE seeing you be part of this movement! you really do seem so bright since taking a step back from tiktok :)
it’s scary, and it’s a big risk for me, but it feels right in my soul & I have to trust the universe. we are never ever ever taught to put our well-being over money and that’s so damaging!!
as a fellow driving anxiety girlie seeing you talk to yourself while driving made me smile bc i do the exact same thing 🤣💕 idk what it is about the 45 mph speed limit but it just doesn’t feel right
giving myself full 45 minute inspirational talks to keep myself from spiraling LOL

hi Mary! firstly, congratulations to you both! secondly, as a military spouse, the very best advice I can give you for being alone is to 1. Allow yourself to have bad days and hard days but to not allow yourself to become swallowed by it - tomorrow is always a new day! 2. Keep keeping yourself busy. it truly helps so so much 3. You’ll learn new things about yourself being alone and the growth you’ll experience is so interesting!! 4. The hardest thing for me is always eating dinner alone so make dinner plans with friends as often as possible! Whether you go out or make a meal at home!! Surround yourself with people who feel like home ❤ so proud of you!!!

I struggle with bipolar 2 disorder and anxiety and watching you talk about both has made me feel so comforted. Hey, I feel so related to you in the sense that I got into a car accident and was fine with driving anywhere and everywhere even shortly after, but then something shifted in me especially when I moved to a city. At first I was fine driving there, but then I couldn’t drive on the highway or bridges at all only on a regular road. Mind you when I was younger I lived in New England and drove everywhere from Boston to New York. Once I moved back to New England I felt more comfortable to drive on the highway I’m still not where I was but I can drive on the highway in my state (only on certain highways right now) but I hope I can work my self to going anywhere because it is a real hurdle with anything I feel comfortable but not free enough to drive anywhere whenever still

The DMV will do that to you! I’ve had people tailing and flashing me while I’m going literally over the speed limit in the RIGHT lane because of my speed. I pulled over because I thought something was wrong with me car the way they were acting. I never had driving anxiety until I moved to DC!
Mary I’m also bipolar and managing my diagnosis was something you really helped me with.
You not being as active on TT is teaching me that it’s okay to cut out something big in life that’s not good for mental health

Please don’t feel guilty about leaving tiktok. So many of us want to leave too but the creators we love to keep up with ONLY do tiktok. It’s honestly a breath of fresh air that you’re moving away from it. I wish more would so that I wouldn’t feel like I needed to check in with the accounts I follow so much. Highkey don’t even look at my fyp anymore, and I deleted the app and only get on it on my desktop now. Which has helped a lot, but tiktok SUCKS. If this is where you feel the most yourself, this is where your energy should be ❤

If you & Matt decide you’re comfortable with sharing about it, I’d love to hear about how you went about choosing your wedding bands! - someone who is getting married next month & just chose her wedding band
we reallyyyy wanted super comfortable bands that we could wear all the time - Matt wears a silicone ring while he’s working, but otherwise neither of us take our rings off - so we were looking for bands that felt really natural on. We also chose simple bands so that we could wear them with everything and they would always be timeless!
@@MarySkinner I love that! My fiancé got a classic gold band & will need to get a silicone one too for work since he’s an apprentice electrician. I went with a pretty simple gold contour ring to go with my engagement ring but it was a hard choice since I’ve always been a more silver > gold girl. BUT you have always been a big inspiration to me about mixing metals and breaking out of my comfort zone with that!!!
