I just got this box from gamestop as i was wanting to get into the game. I havent tried it since i was a kid so like early 05-06. Saw this was one of the highly recommended decks and i at least like gardevoir. I wouldve preffered a mewtwo based deck but this is a good start. I have no idea what im doing but might juat show up to locals and see what the game is like.
I've been really impressed with how Gardevoir has pivoted post rotation. If you can get rolling, it's amazing how you can come back into a winning position.
Agreed. Love Gardevoir and the kind of burst-y turns it can pull off, but by far its biggest hurdle is the fact that you HAVE to use TM Evolution or just natural 3 Kirlia off the top of your deck 😂
Awesome video! I wish I could get this league battle deck and upgrade it as your upgrade list looks really good. Its always so awesome to see these budget builds. Hopefully we get the trainer's toolkit 2024 to make some of the more expensive harder to find cards like buddy buddy poffin and earthan vessel alittle cheaper.
Thanks for tuning in. I definitely think they smashed it out of the park with this battle deck. The upgrades were maybe half what I paid for the deck. The Ace Spec was about $10 CAD with everything else staying pretty close to that. The 2024 toolkit really needs to be jammed with goodies (poffin, Iono, catchers, etc) to be worthwhile. The games in such a good spot price wise .I really hope they spoil us with another good one
@@goonsquadtcg yeah it would be cool if they included a ace spec as the promo with it but i doubt it but then again we got a vstar in the last one so anythings possible but i can't wait for the next one its going to be really good.

Pokemon TCG Live (Online play) is quite fun for practice and testing
