    I ordered a pair of Fly X while on an Army deployment. I got them sent to America since I thought it would be a pain to get them shipped to the AE. The shipping was super fast. My dad opened the box. He said they were super nice. Maybe even better than my Reyes.

    Can you tell me what those weigh on the scale? Fly says it's normal for my 14oz to weigh 17.5 oz because they weigh before the strap. I'm very unhappy with this. And they are very slow to help me figure this out. And also if you can tell me the difference in weight between the real leather and fake leather.

  • @Bluehoodman
    @Bluehoodman 4 года назад +1

    Yeah I ordered a 16 oz and I’m still fucking up my knuckles, I think it’s just my bag though the PVC material isn’t really a +. And the thumb part doesn’t feel right for me idk why. Great video mate.

      make sure you wearing decent wraps or inner gloves and when your not punching stop tensing up in between punches. also every punch on the heavy bag doesn't need to be a kill shot so some days go 40-50% on the heavy bag and use your feet more instead to train your positioning. i used to go like a psycho on heavy bags sometimes and was getting bruised knuckles also found out as i was using 10oz for a guy that weighs 200lbs that not good now i use 16-18oz. if you still get pain in the knuckles then last resort you can put foam over the knuckles and wrap it nice and secure as having a loose hand can cause pain from unstable joints.

    I have a white pair of these, as good as my winnings and the leather feels eerily the same. Does winning use artificial leather? Because it doesn't say what type of leather it is on their websites

      No I do Winning does use real leather on their gloves , but these are excellent material for synthetic 👊🏼👍🏼

  • @TimChristenson1
    @TimChristenson1 2 года назад +1

    Hey Simon,
    I just got my x line hook and loops today and I gotta say probably most comfortable hand compartment I’ve ever used. And for half the price I’m fine with synthetic with all other things being equal.
    My gripe: ever since I got Cletos that were heavier than the tag I weigh the gloves and these x lines both weighed 15.25 ounces. If you take the strap off they are essentially a 14 ounce lace glove.
    I don’t know what to do - I love them - there like winning and cleto had a baby lol.
    But my coach said you can’t use these in sparring which I understand.
    I have my ringtocage c17s for sparring.
    So now I can really only use the gloves for training.
    This is not a preferable outcome. I want my favorite glove to be the ones I spar with.
    Does fly generally have this problem?
    I could do a local tournament and show the 16 ounce tag and starch my opponent but ethically it’s not right.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks Simon
    Side note: I remember you saying winning headgear had aluminum in one of your other videos, but there was also another company that was not as expensive - was it sting?

    • @Fit2Box

      OOGS FYC141 for the bag I would go 16 for your size for sparring you could probably use 14 oz but they arnt the thickest padding for the bag- they feel good but there are more protective bag gloves out there

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  4 года назад

      You might want to go 14oz to accommodate the Fastwraps

    • @AlPacinoSF
      @AlPacinoSF 4 года назад

      Fit2Box ok would the 14oz the be bulky or would they be small enough because I’m looking to work on fast punches and speed, I bought a pair of Sabas super soft a few years back in 14 oz and they wore quite a big glove they slowed me down a bit, would these be smaller do you rekon? Or would you even recommend the Adidas adi speed which one seem more durable? Thanks again and sorry for all the questions.

    • @Fit2Box
      @Fit2Box  4 года назад +1

      AlPacinoSF my only concern is the Fastwraps are bigger than normal wraps , and the fly x being synthetic I would hate for them to be too small to accommodate the Fastwraps , I think both the Adidas speed and the fly x are great choices in gloves I would lean towards fly x as the more durable if I had to pick -14oz fly x is also not a massively padded glove so hence why I thought it might be to answer for you👊🏼👍🏼
