I just moved into a new house and my bathroom decor is bling. Bathroom accessories are so high. Each piece was priced at $30 to $50. The waste basket was over $100. Thank you so much for the inspiration. Definitely doing this.

My problem would be getting enough wood to do that with because it has to be 17" high. If i can fibd the wood, i can use this method to build it.

Anything that has caught your eye in Dollar Tree? You are a very creative thinker. I appreciate any input.
Thanks Jamie. Maybe use the plastic chopping mats? I’m thinking you could cut/ glue pieces of that and then decoupage it? It wouldnt be as study as the wood pieces but that could work as a plastic option. Hope that helps! Good luck 🤗💕

Beautiful! Since the glass vase is clear when you put the 2nd sheet of tissue on, did you have to line it up with the first exactly, so it wouldn't show through or not?
Nope, I didn’t bother to do that and it definitely changed the overall look of the paper. But I really liked the end result. Plus the 2nd layer helped me hide the tiny gaps between each of the blocks. With the thicker paper, the cover now looks like one solid piece. I think this mistake actually enhanced the design. :) Thanks for watching! 🤗💕

I do both. I buy mirrors in bulk (since I use so many) and then I visit several $Trees in my area on the weekends :) TFW!
