Good point D. We should probably highlight the frequency of dividend payments more often during our ETF Battles too. Many funds distribute quarterly, but other funds do it monthly. Ron
I think I’m going to sell my Sdiv and put into my svol. I’m buying tons of MPW. Keeping schd and sell my sret to put in schd. Considering PEY. Any suggestions on these combinations?
Great information here. After a little research, I also slightly favored PEY over SPHD as a small part of my portfolio...by the way large t-shirt, please and thank you.
JM: PEY in dividend ETF investing land - is an old dog. It's been around the block. Which gives us perspective on its performance history during various cycles. You can't say that about too many dividend ETFs. Ron
It's still early into the new year, but this is already my favorite ETF Battle suggestion. It's got all of the elements we like. Big multi-trillion asset managers facing off plus a new industry/sector/thematic trend on the cusp of greatness. Let me stern talk with the host and see what I can do. Best, Ron
BTW, are you really a running guy? I'm from Chicago and I grew up around a running group named the "Hash House Harriers." Their motto was: "We're a drinking club with a running problem." Check them out. Best, Ron www.chicagohash.com/
@@etfguide and I am, I’ve ran in several marathons, half marathons and mid distance races including the NYC marathon. And I love that motto haha. I want to run the Chicago marathon in the near future. I’ll definitely check them out.
Found your channel only today whilst searching for this. Ppl are soooo hyped up about SCHD on RUclips and down on PEY. I am drawn to PEY!! - do you think the PEY cost offsets it’s gain? - if there isn’t a huge overlap how about buying both? I do SCHD DGRW VTI now but I really prefer Income to Growth. I can’t get too excited about Growth no matter how much I don’t even know why but I get SO excited about dividends even if it’s only little! Love your channel and will look at other videos .
Ron, I would like to see what your judges say of PEY vs RDVY, First Trust Rising Dividend Achiever. PEY has a higher yield, but RDVY holds higher quality stocks with lower volatility.
DivItUp! These same ETF tickers have been in many 'o ETF Battles. But not quite in your suggested combo. And there's only one thing I like better than triple-headers...QUADRUPLE-HEADERS! Thank you and stay tuned! Ron
Not sure if you're a new viewer. But we're just starting Season 4 of the show. And SCHD has been featured on many ETF Battles. And more times than not, it's a winner. If SCHD was a basketball player, it would be like MJ in the fourth quarter with 7 seconds left on the clock. Guess what happens next. Best, Ron
@@etfguide great analogy Ron! I’m a big fan of your ETF battles and I know you can’t put SCHD in all of them. I don’t think it has ever lost a battle, has it?
When they say "low volatility", do they mean stock price volatility, or dividend-amount-per-share volatility, or dividend yield volatility? One wants high expected future yields, but one doesn't want dividend-amount-per-share too drop, or be to volatile. Maybe it should even keep pace with CPI or PCE.
Thanks Ron, Cinthia and James. Dividend ETFs are always good for us old retired people.
ditto that,,,id like to see more dividend ETF battles

Hello! Ron. Happy New Year!
Ai is booming this new year. Can we get a battle between BOTZ vs. IRBO vs. ROBO vs. ROBT ? Thank you!
Excellent match up and great judges too….i really like the dividend/income etfs.
100% 👌
What a fabulous introduction Ron
I have both $SPHD and $PEY. love them both for their monthly pay out.
Does this make you a double dipper? 😉RD
@@etfguide LMAO RD, yes, double "DRIP'R"

I really like PEY. I did not know about it until now. Great holdings!

Expense ratio is high so there is a trade off there!
"Invesco S&P 500 High Dividend Low Volatility UCITS ETF Dist (USD)" is super good👍
How about FDIG vs IBLC?

Glad you found us! We just started season 5 of ETF Battles in 2024. Don’t miss it! Ron
Hi Ron, can you do a video that includes SPGP (S&P 500 GARP Fund) ?
Perhaps a battle with another growth ETF, thank you!

Thank you Cliff! Good suggestion. Best, Ron
Who’s the king of this autonomous driving fad? 🚗 DRIV vs. IDRV vs. HAIL vs. FDRV
Since you started a family ETF battle
How about JPEI vs JPEQ vs JPET
JP Morgan all the way can we do battle Ron ?
Super analysis and excellent recap from you Ron
PEY sounds pretty awesome! I have a feeling it’s gonna continue to get more popular
Nice video there Ron!
Could we get a battle of dividend ETF's with relatively higher expense ratio - DGRW vs NOBL vs SDY vs DVY
DivItUp! These same ETF tickers have been in many 'o ETF Battles. But not quite in your suggested combo. And there's only one thing I like better than triple-headers...QUADRUPLE-HEADERS! Thank you and stay tuned! Ron
Ron - I’d like to see a BATT vs. IDRV showdown!
I like batteries! Ron 👍
Sorry Ron JEPI vs JEPQ vs JPST
And the winner is… SCHD! At least it should be 😉

A CEF match up would be awesome to watch! Which are the best CEFs out there?
Let's battle 💪
JC: For CEF's, there's a lot of potential candidates. Check out Nuveen or Gabelli and get back to us with your tickers. Best, Ron
@@etfguide Thanks Ron. Im looking at these right now CLM. PDI. UTG.
But I will check out nuveen and gabelli

Low equity volatility is the financial context spoken in this episode. Best, Ron
Audio from Cynthia is bad
We’re working on it Greg! Ron
Right now PEY is paying .88¢ per $20 share at a monthly rate.
That sounds pretty good to me. Almost too good. What am I missing?
Neither ETF can hold a candle to SCHD!
I just realised you were comparing PEY and SPHD not SCHD 😂
Hi Ron, Could you please do a ETF battles between PEY vs DHS?
👍🏼Thanks Raymond
