This is the theme to my short story, when the Atheria reaches the Outpost planet in the Prime Plane of Light. Particularly when she finally sees the sunset on the surface of the planet. Some Context:Scene The planet is one of eight, orbiting a pair of binary stars, of the 3 that are in the habitable zone. Being mostly made of carbon, and lighter elements, the planet is larger than Earth, but with similar gravity. The carbon makes extremely fertile soils, and that combined with more oxygen makes larger trees and plants and animals. The technology is based on carbon and particularly Graphene. This tech and architecture, being built around the super material graphene, leads to some of the most beautiful and massive living and nonliving fusions of architecture and the plants that naturally grew there. Diamond and graphene on this planet were as common as dirt, (the planet was practically made of them) so the planet was envied for mining by other civilizations. Thing is, it doesn't appear on sensor arrays, as if it doesn't exist, and when scout spaceships come close to it, they all seem to mysteriously disappear. This fact is attributed to the inhabitants, for they live on other planets as well, part of a mysterious race that seems to come and go from places and times as it pleases, as ephemeral as the light, and they seem to disobey the laws of physics regularly. It is known that they also can be extremely powerful, and don't take kindly to thier planets being pillaged. However, people have stayed with them on peaceful terms, and the seem to truly be very kind, at heart. And this, *this* is where our character has come to. As she watches the setting suns, and stretches her wings, this beautiful melody wafts over the trees toward her, as if it is the voice of the wind itself.

Ruben Torres Actually I consider that I had the best childhood surrounded by family and good persons, so that's not the problem why sometimes humanity disappoint me. Sometimes I lose that faith because, look now all the wars that are happening, and this is something that you can´t avoid thinking why, why elsewhere people are killing themselves. It's sad and disappointing. But we still have to pretend everything's good where we are and keep living life until war isn't happening around the corner.
