@stuffyfightr I live in Scotland at the moment but born in England. I'm 20 just now, born on October 1st 1991. I guess I started making music when I was 7 with my first Guitar, but I started FL Studio 4-5 years ago :) The name Blackmill is the house name of my grandparents which passed away, so I'm trying to get the house back through my music :) Hope this helps ;)

Takes me back to 2013. I was a 20 year old junior medic trainee at the Australian Army School of Health. When I was on leave, I would travel 5 hours from base to home in Sydney on many Friday nights to see my mother, sister and close friends. I had Blackmill and other artists on 700MB CDs copied from Utorrent stashed to accompany me on my journies to and from. My car had no Bluetooth capability. The same roads, hills, the power windmills, the bridges crossing many small creeks, the farmlands, advertising boards, the curves of the road, the straights, and the usual highway patrol spots. These were the tracks I listened to keep me awake and reflect on my life direction. Now I am 29 and out of full time military. Oh how I miss those days now that I am out of the Army. Oh how life was a lot more simplier.

This is why the Internet is something we should protect and care for and NOT take for granted. Imagine if we lived in the 70's or in the 80's, most wouldn't of have the chance to listen to Blackmill, I know I wouldn't. Here we have a guy who spends hours creating a song, he uploads it and it's instantly available to the entire world. This ''thing'' (web) makes everything available, but it is indeed fragile. A simple power outage and the world dissapears right before your eyes.

I was playing FF VII the other day and listening to music. I was at the Gold Saucer date sequence (w/ Tifa), particularly the gondola ride. This song was playing at that moment and I don't what it was, but it just seemed to fit the mood of the scene. Especially when the FMVs start to play, the song just went so well with the scene. Watching the gondola ride, seeing the chocobos go racing past, the fireworks. And of course the near declaration of love. It was like I was playing the game for the first time ever again. Funny how music can change an experience for you. I just felt like sharing that. It seemed special at the time. Thank you for creating beautiful music.
