- The Artemis III mission, represented in Roblox Space Sailors as the SLS Update gets released!
The Artemis program is an upcoming program by NASA in returning astronauts to the Moon, hopefully by 2025. The SLS rocket brings astronauts to the Lunar Gateway, a space station orbiting the Moon, where a lander* will be waiting for astronauts to board onto, in order to actually land on the Moon. On the way back, astronauts board the lander to return to the Gateway, then board the Orion spacecraft they used in going to the Moon, on a days journey back to Earth. Once they arrive, they will face a nerve-racking reentry, having to deal with twice as much energy compared to reentering Earth from the ISS. The drogue parachutes deploy to slow down the pod to a reasonable speed before the main parachutes deploy, assuring a safe splashdown and recovery in the end of the journey.
The SpaceX Lunar Starship will actually be used, not the HLS lander in this video

The whole point of the Artemis moon missions are not just to reach the moon but to create somewhat of a truck stop for future mars missions.
the main two objectives are to build a space station in Lunar orbit as shown in game which can act as a port to Mars and ALSO foundation for a colony on Lunar surface!

Great job on that update, a few months ago. Good SLS model, though the only thing I would note is that the solar panels deploy post perigee raise manuever
Space Sailors has never failed to amaze me to going to the ISS with realistic 0 gravity to going to the moon. Space sailors is the most realistic space game in Roblox. Every single update makes the game 10 times better! And one of my favorate things in the game is that you can visit the kenddey space center!
