I have had diamond patterns on my to do list for a while. As a new to shaft weaving weaver, it is one of the patterns I have admired. I know it is a pattern that can be done on the rigid heddle too but I would rather try it on my shaft loom, it seems less of a faff on a shaft loom. I actually have an 8 shaft counter marche loom but I am sticking to using only 4 shafts for now though and it is ready for a new project. I have just not found the best way for me to dress it so it takes a long time to dress lol so I am procrastinating right now lol I also get a little overwhelmed with choice as a new weaver, so this weave along might help for sure
@@TartantazCreates I hope you enjoy weaving some diamonds! As for dressing the loom, I realize that it can feel like a lot - especially in the beginning! But you'll get more comfortable and quicker the more you do it! If you are on Facebook, I would absolutely recommend joining the Weave Along group when the doors open on Monday! It's like a big supportive think tank where you can soak up so many great ideas! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
I'm organizing for the October Weave Along.... I've done Bird's-eye, Goose-eye, Rosepath, so and excited to try your pattern.
@@conniepeterson122 Connie, I can't wait to see your project!
I am so excited for this weave along. Great suggestions here. I have never done Overshot but it's worth a shot. Okay bad weaving pun.
@@TinyWeaverLori I can't wait to see what you create!
