Imagine having these kind of parents, actually acknowledging your depression. Being Filipino kinda almost means, nag iinarte ka lang when you feel depress and helpless. Trying to open up, but ended but being sileced and disappointed. I hope our generation will be better parents.
correct! tama talak ni Mitch! kapag 30s kn you realize tlga sobrang missed opportunities to defend and always making yourself your #1 and first priority!
I agree, when women hit at age of 30's,there's a lot of realizations,.,Anyway, thank you for this video,Ms.Michelle and Ms. Madeleine,.,keep safe, always,.,
I feel you po Ms Michelle.. lahat po ng na experience mo na experience ko din. Sabi ng doctor sakin yung main reason dw ng anxiety and depression ko is yung transition dito. So hard na walang support system from your own family. Iba pa rin talaga na manganak sa pinas dahil ang daming family na naka support at tutulong sayu especially after giving birth. Dito we have to do it on our own. Pero ito naging choice natin eh. Pero Im happy naman na I overcome it too like you. ❤❤❤ Ever since talaga idol na kita dahil napaka strong mo po. Laban lang.
OH MY GOODNESS. This is the first collab I’ve ever sit down and watch. I absolutely love the conversation you two had and saludo kay Ate Madeleine for her insights. ☺️☺️☺️
Hi Ms.Michelle we used to go in the same Gym in Tech Ridge before this pandemic started.Good to see you both talking how to fight depression.Mahirap talaga dito.We dont belong here but we need too.i Hope to see you again.
Omg!! Can relate 💯 it’s really hard having a baby away from family.. no support system..no matter how supportive your partner is, you can’t avoid to feel depressed here and there.. esp your life changed suddenly that someone is dependent on you..you can’t stay on bed even you feel so tired ..you are force to do your responsibilities as a mom and wife despite you don’t feel good .. being a mom is very fulfilling but very challenging..Thanks for talking about this..it makes me feel that I’m not alone and it’s normal to feel this way.. Happy Women’s Month 💐❤️
Exactly!! I love your conversation and very true what you gals are saying. More power to both of you and God bless you more with health, love and happiness!!
Such a nice episode! I can relate well since I grew up in the Philippines, but when we move here and I started working, I gotta figure things on my own! Still learning a lot along the way, but it’s very liberating to say the least. ❤️
Omgeeee I can relate big time! I moved here in Canada when I was 25 on my own and I learned a LOT ung buhay señorita nga nga but like everyone said EXPERIENCE is your best teacher
Love this! Super relatable and i admire you both! Realtalk lang talaga pag nasa US kna...struggle is real but you’ll definitely learn alot. Can’t wait for the next vids! 💕🤗❤️
Ngayon ko lng nkita tong vlog ko na to pro it hits so hard and it made so much sense. Thank you Mich and Mads for this. We need more talks like this. You're an inspiration to all the women going through something this days. ❤
Please say Hi to Madeleine for me Michelle.. I can relate sa knya because Im experiencing the same.. I wish na sna makahanap n sya ng para s knya Im sure my mga tao na pra sa atin tlga na ddting when you least expect it.. kaya good luck satin Madeleine laban lang! May vlog kaya sya prang feeling q bagay s knya mag vlog at magshare ng story nya pra s mga girls na katulad nmin ng experience na medyo nadedepressed dhil single pressure alone etc.. hays. Please pko sabi Michelle..
i feel you michelle, when i came here in us.. no support system too..when i gave birth its just all by myself, my husband family not even here coz there in AZ and were here in IL.. i have to take care of a toddler and a newborn by myself.. my husband help yah but not much he’s working so struggle is real.. iba sa pinas coz we have family to help us and we can get yaya..
i'm planning to get pregnant soon. And yes, one of my fears is it might get sooo lonely, the exact opposite of when i gave birth to my 1st born in the phils. 😥
Thank you Ms. Michelle for dis vlog ep. I can relate with Ms.Carla and all single ladies doesn't have a timeline to follow... Girl power and stay safe 😊😊😊
Thanks for the article from ABS-CBN I've read today and search on YT and I need this message. Thank you love you both I've missed watching you glad to see you together. I agree to both of you. More video like this. Been through a lot pf hardships growing up without my family beside me. But thank God with my prayer warriors and my loving partner they made me strong and still fighting and be strong and independent woman.💪🏼🙏
This video is soooo relatable! I came here from the Philippines when I was 15 and I didn’t know how to wash my own clothes! I struggled with what I wanted to do with my life because I never wanted to be a nurse (not that there’s anything wrong with it, just not for me). Moving here, I had to really learn to be independent and I had to grow up a lot lol.
Mahirap tlg pag wl ka s bansang sinilangan mo,mahirap ang adjustment pero madami ka dn matututuanan at madidis cover about sa sarili mo.nakaka miss kayo bilang isang artista dito s pinas but enjoy kung anung buhay meron kayo ngaun.❤💙💚
This is very interesting episode.. michelle is right send your kids to America they will learn to be independent. My daughter learns a lot when we're in the Phils. She just always ask money to buy anything at the store. If she has money she just run away to buy junk foods at sari-sari store. When we move here in the US she now know the value of MONEY how American works hard to support themselves. At the age of 10 she know how to save money for her future even 1 cent at the street she will pick it to put her piggy bank...Thanks for sharing this great episode God Bless you both...Hindi porket dito na kami sa America mayaman na...
This is something I can relate on. I moved here to Australia, just weeks before pandemic happened, causing the borders to close. I left my partner and daughter in the Philippines. I was not mentally prepared that I would not see them for this long, since as a student I can go back home anytime. I had to decide wether to continue our Australian dream or be carried away with the situation and just go back home. But here I am still hustling hard! Thanks for this video, I’m not alone.
Why would they asked those questions dapat iniisip ng mga matatanda mahiya sil
Living in the states for 3 years now and I can totally relate about the bills and expenses here. I was comparing everything to Manila where I can get almost anything that I want for a cheaper price. Pero when I moved here, i became more mindful about my finances and think of important things first like rent, car insurance and groceries.. etc. back home in Manila, parang someone is doing it for you. Pero dito, Ikaw Talaga lahat. I’m blessed because I’m living a good life and I’m able to share it to my family back home Pero at times, napa pagod ka Talaga. Malungkot going home na Ikaw Lang lagi. So it’s really important to value yourself and take care of yourself.

The good thing about moving to USA or any country, it pushes you to realize your strengths and all the possibilities outside of your comfort zone.
Indeed! You'll discover yourself more.
Wow ang ganda pa rin ni michelle madrigal
