This Button Is The Best Button Ever Invented!! Here's Why...

- Cars and trucks are full of buttons and switches, but this particular switch in the Mercedes S550 has changed my life! I'll tell you all about it in this IAA walk around video. Plus, I'll give you a Mercedes S550 review so you can hear how terrible the engine sounds. I'll also give you a 2009 Lexus ES350 review. This car looks pretty damaged, but don't judge a book by its cover.

The S550 is iffy being a 2007, if the engine was made before 02.2007 then it has that dreaded balance shaft sprocket wear issue as do all M272 and M273 engines have made before that time period but there is a chance it could have been replaced and the problem is something else. All engines made post 02.2007 has a revised sprocket made of better materials and is no longer a problem. If it has Cam-Crank correlation code that's a dead giveaway.
2009-2012 is the best bet for s550
You are 100% correct! This is likely the problem with this 2007!

Hello. Good to see you again.😊👍
Can we see more other vehicles except for Mercedes? I know you love them. You have brought back some really good ones.
Another great video. Be safe and careful 🙏
The one car I regret selling was a 06 sl65 bought in December 05... loved the car .. it was in the shop all the time. I did have the ecu tuned by rentec .. the car had crazy torch
1:56 look at the Tahoe behind the Mercedes please I love tahors
yup- saw it right away -
I love Mercedes but I don't know a lot about them but seeing your videos does got me curious about them
Cool. You finally have a jump pack.
I love the ES330s the 2005 1 year only model because it had cooled seats but this 2006 ES 350 model I probably the last really really bulletproof Lexus models I would recommend I mean look at the mileage on it yeah and it wasn't taken care of but imagine a 2006 Cadillac DeVille beat like this it would be way worse and it wouldn't be running like this definitely wouldn't be that quiet, this engine probably still has another 250,000 mi in it it's definitely been road hard and people didn't take care of it so I'm sure the oil hasn't been changed as it's should be and so on but still you can tell quality when you see it, it needs a really good cleaning and some maintenance but I'd fix the headlight change all the fluids detail the hell out of it and drive it and put tires on it lol only if it went cheap I wouldn't pay more than two grand for this if even that and I'm talking out the door
why do you never check the oil before you start the engine?
Ikr!?! He does that all the time. I love Mike's videos, but the last thing I would do is walk around yapping for a youtube video if the vehicle sounded like that. It was awful!
If it's gotta be a W221 S550 then opt for the 2010 or 2011 model. It's the last year of the M273 motor and many years into production as well as it's outside of the range of engines that had the balancer shaft sprocket issue. They go down the road nice and still look modern.
@@IKhanNot 2009 was good
Funny that the Lexus windshield has a sticker that says "detailed" 😂😳
Need a detail and new tires 👍
smells like grandma's closet - lolz - nice one - Take the Mercedez s550 magnet out of your pocket Mike - IM lookin at the Tahoe - lolz - Anyway the back seat is - yup - large - nice sedan
The Lexus ES 350 has potential 😎😎👍👍
Intermediate shaft gear on timing chain on S550? That or your popcorn is ready
Hint was ultimate. Well Genesis had an ultimate trim.
The Lexus may need a tune-up, the bumper fixed I and good to go.
That Lexus prob crashed cuz those bold tires to begin with
I would pass on the Mercedes Mike 🤔🤔
She may need a tune-up, fresh gas and some air suspension work.👍
I would just move it on to the auction.
This IS the auction.
(Humor Only) Seems like trying to find a car to take home is like finding a wife. The younger ones look great but cost way too much. The older ones may look great but soon you find hidden damage that cannot be repaired. The good ones are so rare that we end up settling for the best fixer upper. And never, never try to push her buttons or your back looking for a new one with no money in your pocket.
I was looking for the high maintenance part of your humor or sagging suspension
@@richardcorner9262 Your so right but shortened it twice so nobody would get "triggered". (humor meant by triggered)
@@darylkik777 You have the right to free speech so go for it before Trump takes it away , that should get some people triggered
Buy it fix the broken parts then give it away then bring the new owner to macco to get it paint for a family price that wood be good content.
always avoid the first year of a redesign or new engine...2009-2013 is the best years
I was going to say something but I forgot
Don't forget to remember it if you already remembered to forget it....😅😅😅😅
Barracuda
Take the S class Mercedes Mike the junking of this car comes from the of the labor cost
Call of dudy
You're going to catch and pass, Randy!!!
You need liquid Molly to fix that

why do we see so many sagging headliners on Mercedes cars?🤔
❤️🥰👍🤙
S550
You love Mercedes because you are a glutton for punishment. 😂
Mike, you ask why you start another sentence before you finish the one you were on? Well hold your hat, your mouth can't keep up with your brain. 😊
M a s e r a t t i Mr Mike
what were you doing in grandmas closet?
I wouldn't touch that Lexus, I strongly suspect it has already been been the college car for a female and has really suffered for it. You can see no care at all has been taken over the condition of the car and, judging by the state of the tyres which are more bald than Telly Savalas, absolutely no money has been spent on even basic maintenance. You already have one seriously neglected Lexus to bring back from the dead so I can't see any benefit to getting another.
The S550L is more of a question. The noise from the engine at idle sounds horrifically mechanical on the video, but a gentleman around the corner from me has a V8 S-Class and it produced the same noise when the engine mounts gave up the ghost. Apparently the engine mounts aren't horribly expensive though fitting them on a V8 is a bit of a mission due to the size of the engine. The marking to the leather on the dashboard is unpleasant but I suspect some good leather cleaner and leather balm on the leather will pretty much make that disappear, the cloth on the sunroof shade dropping seems to be pretty much standard on Mercs with sunroofs in the US and isn't something you haven't fixed before and the scratch on the passenger rear door looked like it was just in the lacquer/clear coat as it shows up so white, which would be a good thing to show people how to rectify cheaply. I'm not as sure as you were that the car had been badly neglected as the leather on the seats, particularly the driver's seat, still looked decent where it usually doesn't on well-used or abused Mercs of this age. The wheels and potentially misbehaving air suspension are certainly questions, but I think the wheels could be polished back to looking decent as you have done before, and if not then probably replaced for more tasteful items for not too much money considering the number of dead S-Classes in the US. I think the big Merc, at 140-odd thousand miles could be pulled back to looking like a million dollars without a huge amount of work or expense and would look super cool in that beautiful really deep red colour when finished.
Lexus only one worth saving.
First! 🎉🎉🎉
Turn the line around and I am first. lol
Buy the Lexus
You said it Mike "Make good choices Mike" Buy the Barracuda not a Nissan Ultima
You do need another mercedes lol
Plymouth
WHERE YA KEEPING THOSE CARS YOU BUY NOW??? INSIDE YOUR HOME??? RANDY GOING TO LET YOU KEEP 100 CARS AT HIS SHOP???
Randy should let him keep it. Mike has done a lot for Randy
The Lexus is a big no. Only a $6k to $7k car in very good condition & on a good day. That one is way too rough along with the major collision damage.
Maybe you r German lol
