I am from Amritsar and have some things to say here.
Firstly, really happy to have u in my city. watching the thumbnail filled me with excitement and crazzyy happiness the u will finally get authentic Punjabi food to delve into. U coming here alone girl kudosss!!!
U can try the Butter Paneer Mini Meal in the Bharawan ka Dhaaba (Brother's Dhaba) near the golden temple which is my family's all time fav [remenber to go to the one on left hand side] and not to mention the langar at the temple itself. 🙏
However, the encounter with those guys that too near Sri Harmandir sahib (THE GOLDEN TEMPLE) was deeply disheartening. I condemn this act of theirs along with the other two incidents. Being a true Sikh and a Punjabi I offer my sincere apologies and we as a community do not claim them as a part of us.
U are courageous which a lot of girls are not. Hope u have encounters with genuine Sikhs and Punjabis that make u feel like home. safe travelling and exploring.

We wanted see golden temple in night time aur aate waqt it was just around 12 and we lost the gali in which our hotel was as sari galiya same thi. One guy literally followed us, but thn ek uncle saw that and helped us to find our hotel😅
