I just bought a new nightshade 2021 in blizzard pearl. Did you guys baby it and break it in slowly. My father used to baby the engine for a whole before heavy on the pedal. Also did you have oil changes sooner for new buyer? My very first $70k purchase. We chose this gas guzzling beast over a Yukon Denali XL so we can off road trail and long trips without the fear of breaking down.
That is a great choice to take the whole family off-roading or on long road trips. I don't think there is a "break in period" these days. I know when I got my 2020 Tacoma, I definitely didn't hold back and I will still punch it down just to see what it will do. haha
You should do a side-by-side comparison of (now) 2022 Limited and Platinum Sequoias as fully optioned as they can get. For someone like me trying to decide between the two it's pretty tough to tell exactly what the difference is, other than a few trim pieces inside and out and the different (variable) suspension on the Platinum. Better yet, do SR5/Limited/Platinum, pointing out the differences between the 3. It would definitely be time consuming to put together but it would be a great source of information for Sequoia shoppers!
@@kennethservito3760 No sir, most popular is Blizzard Pearl, but also available in Midnight Black, Magnetic Gray, Super White, Celestial Silver and Shoreline Blue Pearl.
Actually, I think you have that backwards. The Sequoia Limited is available in both Super White and Blizzard Pearl. Nightshade Sequoia is only available in Blizzard Pearl.
@@brandonscott1513 I stand corrected! That is new for 2021. Blizzard Pearl wasn’t an option on the Limited trim last year. I just bought my wife a Nightshade in Blizzard Pearl last month. It combines what I consider the best of all trim levels: Blizzard Pearl exterior, black leather interior, captains chairs with no center console, BluRay (added package), black 20” rims and no air-ride suspension (I am installing new springs and shocks this weekend to lift it a few inches) Oh and the big tree FINALLY got push-button start/smart key last year...took long enough!
I have the 2021 limited nightshade blizzard pearl. Best part is remote start feature with your phone and of course reliability. I chose this old classic vs the fancy luxury denali and cadillac.
@@overlandersnorthwest the remote start only works through the app on ours. We got the key fob to start it the day we brought it home and then never again. Haven’t had time to bring it to the dealer to see what’s up.
Nice video! I like your pace and that you took your time. That's refreshing! Hows the ride? Bumpy or smooth like you are floating over the road? Thank you!
@@brandonscott1513 Great to know! I was having trouble understanding what would be more comfortable: Fox Shocks vs. Double wishbone (Limited) vs. Adaptive Suspension (Which is super cool that you can dial in Sport, Standard, Or Comfort mode for your ride)on the Platinum, in regards to ride comfort for on road. Blizzard Pearl is such a nice color! Thanks again!
spoiler alert, its exactly the same as the 2008 sequoia limited. why toyota why. makes us a full length full size suv and for god sakes update the design. i am in love with the reliability, but the rest is f-in terrible. just drove a 21 burban, expedition, and sequoia back to back on the same day. Its not even in the same league as the the other two. its a damn shame because you know its gonna be running way after they are scrap metal, but damn its ugly and the interior is stone age compared to the others. its also too short, nobody with a family wants a short full size. it amazes me why toyota does not fix this. its like they don't want to sell cars these days.
Awesome rig !!
Love those Sequoias, they last forever.
I'll have this car within this year. It's a great car!
I would wait till 2023 to see if they redesign it
Sequoia, the best SUV ever

Wish they offered a TRD Pro suspension package with the Toyota Sequoia Limited/Platinum models.
You are able to buy TRD shocks and Sway bars for the Sequoia as well as the TRD Cat Back exhaust. 🤷♂️
@@brandonscott1513, thanks, Brandon. That would be badass.
I have 6 months with my 2020 limt seq and I must say I’m in love but it would of been awesome if they would of made the front row seat a 3 passenger
Interesting, you would prefer to have bench seat in the first row? I love the center console myself.
@@brandonscott1513 would prefer to have bench seat front middle and rear 😁

Thank you. I try and show every option on each vehicle whether it is repetitive from one vehicle to the next or not.
I want this car
Good job.
Wow
Why do they not have locking gas caps, gas will soon be $6.00 per gallon, stealers will be everywhere.
how did you get a dvd player in a limited
There has been an available Blu-ray rear entertainment system on the Limited Sequoia since 2019.
@@brandonscott1513 I also thought that you can only get the limited in grey

Good
That is Super White, not Blizzard Pearl. The Limited trim level is not available in Blizzard Pearl unless it’s a Nightshade edition 👍🏼

Thank you so much Liz! The Sequoia, much like the Tundra ride VERY smoothly! Steering is so easy and just makes you want to go for a long drive.

While I agree with you those other vehicles you drove are garbage when compared. This thing is a dinosaur though
