I sent the UAG Monarch case back to Amazon for a refund (£65) as MagSafe was so laughably weak. It's a shame as I used to really like their cases but until they make some significant changes I shall be giving them a miss. ☹

Great video as usual Aaron. I used to be a big fan of UAG cases. So i am shocked how bad they’ve become despite their hefty price tag. Especially the Monarch which i carried around on previous phones for years. With your advice, i switched to Mous cases years ago on my iPhone 11 which i recently gave to my kid. I recently bought an iPhone 14 Pro Max and bought another Mous case. They are expensive for us Canadians but they are worth it over the long run.

I watch tons of iPhone case videos and they all say how wonderful the product is, then I go buy the product and after a few weeks of use I realize the case is complete crap. These cases are painfully expensive and now I have a closet full of many different lightly used 14 ProMax cases that completely suck. I'd try to shuck them off on my dear wife but they wont fit her 13 ProMax. BTW, thank you for a great video.🥰
Great video. I personally dislike UAG cases because of the high price. Poetic brand cases are similar in quality, if not better and are a much better value in my opinion. With brands like Supcase and Poetic offering the same level of protection I don't see a point in paying the high prices for cases like UAG. The UAG designs are really nice and another reason I don't like it because I'd be scared to scuff up the case LOL. With cheaper brands like mentioned, I don't mind dropping or scuffing the case at all. It's all personal preference.

I’ve got carbon fibre monarch pro,, for my 13pm, and I thinks it’s great. I don’t use MagSafe so can’t comment, but the sides aren’t loose at all, if anything they are to stiff, 🤷🏻♂️

Love my civilian case. Only thing they need to change is to make a bigger cut out for the action button. It’s almost impossible to press it with how deep it sits

I am using the Dot case for my iPhone 14 pro max, there must be somthing related to size of the phone or something becasue it fits very good and its not loose as you shown in the video, its really rigid from the sides, I don't know why its so loose in your video, its actully very tight and fits perfectly near the button areas.

I got the Metropolis on a clearance sale at Best Buy. I wanted a textured case and not something slippery. I like the look and feel of the case though I have noticed the sides are loose. I will use the case for a while but will eventually get an Otterbox. Thank you for giving a case lineup by a brand. It’s very helpful in making a decision and being able to see what each case looks like.
Aaron! Bring back the scale man. I know it's a minor detail for a lot of people, but comparing the weight between, say, that Metropolis and Monarch would be helpful.

Thank you. I think you are the best at reviewing phone cases. In my opinion, once you use the Loopy case it’s very very hard to go back to a regular case.
I always get UAG and I got the Pathfinder for my 13 pro max. Don't have any issue with fit. Only issue I have is how fast it gets dusty and dirty in the case.
I love my Dbrand grip case, because It offers the perfect balance of size and durability. I need a good protective case, because I refuse to pay the monthly fee for the insurance, but if I weren't looking for drop protection, there are definitely some other cases that I would consider instead. It drives me nuts when I see somebody with a OtterBox defender case on their phone, because the Dbrand Grip Case provides an equal amount of protection, while being slimmer and more ergonomical than the OtterBox defender series case.
I exclusively used UAG for cases after my son threw his Galaxy SIII 20 feet in a fit of rage, and it bounced, hard, on the concrete. This lasted up to my iPhone 11ProMax (which I used the Monarch Pro). I bought a few for my 13pro and they all had issues. the Plyo was weird had fit related issues- sides weren't square to the top/bottom (same as on the 14 in your vid), so it always felt weird in my hand and the phone would sometimes pop out of the case. So, I tried a few and ended up with a Spigen and make my own designs for the back. Love your vids and reviews!

Same exact situation here. The magnets are way too weak. Only one that seems to work is the case itself.

I got one of their “best” cases for my 11 pro max a while ago, so over hyped. I didn’t trust it at my rail yard

Try uag magsafe case on 14 pro and its terrible.. not suitable for magsafe accessories. I dont recommend uag if you using 14 pro
