I published books and worked until retiring and I was so excited to write full-time. The sad truth is I wrote more books when working full-time. My brain got lazy and decided it didn’t want to focus anymore, since I had all this ‘free time’.

That's not an uncommon experience, Teresa. It's a tricky balance!

So happy to see this episode pop up. Love it when you all talk about the business of writing from a personal point of view. What better way to demonstrate that the journey is different for everyone than sharing four versions of success. ❤️

Thanks Clarice! We're all so different, and everyone's writing journey is the same. As it should be :)

I'm 65 in December and I retire on my birthday.. From then on I plan to be aull time writer, I know that there will be a few challenges but I am prepared to give it a go. I need to give it a couple of years to see how it goes and if it works, I will carry on.. I know that it's a long journey and not an instant fix, I already have two books self published, This video is very relevant to my situation .
