    I own a Mister Sawmill 26 model and I couldn't be more satified. I really like the simplicity and ruggedness of the design. Welded bunks (not bolted), no plastic anywhere and most replacement parts can be found at your local hardware store. I too looked at other big named companies and in the process learned about Mister Sawmill. Turns out they are 4 hours away from me and the wait time was only 8 months. Price comparisons were a no brainer. Way more bang for your buck and you don't have to assemble anything yourself. Just pick it up, add fluids and start milling. The owner, Mike Callaway, is a stand up guy and pretty much builds these things himself (about 1 per month). Thanks for your video. I hope you enjoy your mill as much as I enjoy mine.

    Looks like a decent setup, you will probably need to add 2-4 extra support jacks in the center when cutting large logs, otherwise you will get some deflection on the bed. Best of luck.

    Just remember that when they are dozed...there will be a lot of dirt and rocks and fence rows might have nails and staples. So, buy a metal detector, get extra blades and use a power washer before cutting

    • @FarmandHammer
      @FarmandHammer  3 года назад +3

      Thanks for the advice! I’m afraid there may be a number of them with staples or wire in them so a metal detector is a great idea! Worst case I can’t use the bottom portion of some of the logs. We might also cut some down before he dozes just to keep them from getting rocks and dirt in them.

    Hello it's a good thing what your thinking but a city tree and a fence line tree my contain steel which in turn you will damage your blade. Also your better to cut down thouse trees because a bull dozer makes them to dirty. A sharp blade cuts nice lumber and a dull blade is not fun. Nice buy I'm looking for one also. Have a great day

    Maybe you can put some lumber into the older buildings
    Young people say just tear the down. They don’t realize the cost to replace
    Theycsn be used for equipment storage and cattle shelter or raise pigs
