Pure talent! Brilliant. Wish I had half your skills... Using push when you are an instrument player is really something. I don't, that's why I sold my push and back to piano roll editing! Keep up the good vibes
Woow i was searching for some inspiration during quarantine and found this gem, amazing! Congratulations, it was some years ago, hope you are still in good relationship with music :D
System Of A Pawn it's so simple. just hook up the real instrument to an external audio interface and then route the instrument to an audio channel and arm the channel and hit record in a spot in session mode through Push 2
1:50 could you please explain this moment: you play a solo, than it loops like one time more and then you press a button on Push and then the solo dissappears. How is it done? Is it follow action on the loop to set to play once? Seems like the solo stops after you chose another track, but I don't know this Ableton feature. Thanks!
Yes mate!! Wicked! How did you hook up the kemper to record using the push...via some sort of audio interface? Any recommended gear? This is basically the setup I want to have! Awesome mate!
Thats a bass synth-patch that also triggers a kick. Right before playing that part, I enabled the "Repeat" function on the Push2 (Set to 1/4 notes). I did that to keep the bass/kick in perfect time.
Hi. I have a doubt. Im a beginner with my Push 2. Just wanted to knw for the final video editing where is the audio getting recorded..is it from external microphone or is it getting recorded in ableton. if its from ableton can u plz explain how to do it? will be great help. Thanks
what if you wanna pause ableton, it's probably just preference but I like it better in one long clip off OBS where it takes my computers audio not just ableton.
I suppose that is good reason why you would use 3rd party software. I would just think it would take some performance away and potentially fuck with rewire. I personally would just record a new audio track every take. But there are so many different ways to solve a problem. Keep killin' it! I'm cleaning beer off my Push 2 at the moment...
I actually prefer to use real guitar amps that have a LINE OUT capability. In this video I was using a Kemper Profiler. The only plugins/audio effects software I used was a filter, reverb, and some compression.
I’ve just ordered a push 2 and been watching heaps of these performances. You my man are my absolute favourite! This is so sic

Trying to figure how he brought in the new kick drum at 2:12?
Thats a bass synth-patch that also triggers a kick. Right before playing that part, I enabled the "Repeat" function on the Push2 (Set to 1/4 notes). I did that to keep the bass/kick in perfect time.

I used an application called audio hijack to record all sound coming out of Ableton
Couldn't you just use an audio track that gets Audio from the master?
what if you wanna pause ableton, it's probably just preference but I like it better in one long clip off OBS where it takes my computers audio not just ableton.

how do you record the performance?
a program called Audio Hijack
So good man!
The first kinda "organ" we can hear, is a sampled sound or we have it in Ableton?
Thanks a lot!
Domingo Bonnín Oliver it's a synthesizer called sylenth
Thanks!!
My wife is asking: do you have album of such tracks?
Sweet tune with a nice, chill beat. Curious what your hardware and software setup is on the video, besides the Push 2 and guitar. Rock on!
In this video-
Hardware: Kemper Guitar Profiler, Strymon Big Sky (Reverb Guitar Pedal)
Software: Lennar Digital Sylenth
Sick tune! What laptop stand is that man?
Kristian Leonhardsen it's a table I bought on amazon
Nice one. What's that in front of the push?
It's a Kemper Profiler Head.
Great groove. Did you use some scale? according to the lighting pads it looks like chromatic ... ?
Lukáš Ballý it's called the Dorian scale. A minor key but with a 4maj chord
Are you only using the sounds in live 10?
This is cool :) :P
Very cool. I assume you are a real keyboards player.
siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
👏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
nice
great performance! what amp software do u use?
