Finally a great collection of innovative design. The fine jewelry world hasn't seen anything like this since the invisible settings of Cartier. Quizzically stunning on the level of fashion design Iris Van Herpen.
@@19gregske55 The mount was designed in the mid 1800s by jeweler Jacques-Albert Algiers. Several houses picked up the design in the 1930, including VC&A and Cartier. It was Cartier who brought it to the forefront by designing pieces bought by Edward for Wallis Simpson. Pave design has been making a comeback starting in the late 1980s till the present.
@@danielclaeys7598 : I could tell that you would know the correct answer. Invisible setting is so unforgiving: a millimeter might as well be a mile. A true collaborative effort with the gem cutter and the goldsmith.
Absolutely gorgeous. I have never seen anything like this before.Totally genius. I don’t think I will ever own a price but I get such pleasure from just looking.THANK YOU
Wow!!! I'm speechless.. phenomenal workmanship, colors. The fish. The earring on one side of the ear-incapsulating it, etc, etc. Thanks again for sharing.
Absolutely breathtaking collection! Absolutely amazing the the gems and combination of colors! Very , very stylish and impressive! Congratulations in every possible way! Majestic!
Beautiful interesting and innovative design, especially the fish earrings and the peony brooch, and flower rings! I thought the white opal necklace was a little too over the top!
Andrew, what a superb collection! I haven't seen anything remotely like this before and the use of the Rock Crystal was magnificent. Of course, I adored the colours of the Opal rings although not as much of an admirer of the Ethiopian Opal. Maybe I've just been spoilt by seeing so much of the beauty in Australian Opals. Although the design of the singular fish earring was amazing! The Rock Crystal necklace with the thousands of Diamonds perfectly placed along with the 20+ carat Yellow Sapphire was the centre piece for me. As was everything else I saw. This is exactly what the world needs right now, a nice big injection of colour back in our lives! I do hope you're doing well and thanks so much for this video to brighten the day. Much love, Kris.🇦🇺🥰💎
Hi there, I was worried about you, because when I posted the best of the best collection few weeks back, there was no comment from you. And I wondered? How was your second dose of vaccine? Are you doing fine this time, are there any symptoms?
I Love it! A Masterpiece of a collection! Thank you for sharing with us, Andrew! I love that they are using rock crystal, it is one of my favourite gemstones and is so under appreciated.
Thanks a lot for fine video on amazing collection of jewelry in innovative design.Everyone can enjoy surprising play of colours!I am in rapture of the necklaces with white Ethiopian opals as well as broaches.I liked also wonderful earrings .so bright and sparkling! Thanks indeed ! I wish you much success now and in the future!
Oh, my God! Neon colors jewelry! I am dead now, haha, this is so beautiful! I would never know about this House if wasn’t for your videos. Thank you so much for create this channel.
In my first comment, I was in the beginning of the video, more precisely, in the introduction. Then I saw that the woman who was describing the collection use the word “holografic”, so it is not neon, haha. What a collection! The last necklace, oh my, amazing technology involved in the process. I clap my hands.
Hi Andrew! The earrings are stunning, did she use mother of pearl on them and some of the other pieces? I am not a big fan of opals tho and the rock crystal makes some of these pieces look cheap to me, odd. Maybe it's too modern for my taste. I pray you are less stressed these days as it seems you are putting out videos a little more quickly. I'm still waiting on the series on where were we, rubies next, then the emeralds and tanzanite? Oh the pressure lol! Love you, thanks as always for some beauty in my life! ❤💛💚💜💙 ~~Chanel

Wasn't the invisible setting technique the brainchild of VC&A?
