Craig’s lines are a lot more blunt and to the point, which fits a younger and more angry Batman. This is before all of his experience, so he’s more prone to outbursts
This younger version of batman has to be completely terrifying for the criminals, imagine getting interrogated by someone or something that is considered a myth or supernatural
Arkham City had the best interrogation lines of the entire series. "Lie to me if you're done eating solid food". "Tell me everything you know about Riddler or get ready to eat through a straw". "Face or legs? Which one do I break first?" "Do you know how many bones you've got left for me to break?" "Please, don't lie to me. I only just got Riddler's last informant's blood off my face".

ReduxedPowerFan335 I love the whole Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy anyway. As Bruce Wayne voice, Bale shook off his British accent well enough. His hoarse-Batman voice is kind of fanny, but original as well (As least now, half of the people can't tell Batman is Bruce Wayne by listening, haha)~
Bruce Huang yeah I used to think like 'don't the fbi or cia have a way to identiy batman by voice?' putting that in persp does make one realize that bales voice is pretty clever
I love how despite this batman being intimidating, it sounds like his uncontrollable anger can be used against him. Whereas in Arkham city and forward, he's calm and yet intimidating, you see no way to use his anger to your advantage. He is in ABSOLUTE control. It's either you tell him or you don't but walk away really broken.
Well, the game takes place during his second year as Batman, so he isn't really used to the situations he goes through yet. Plus, he saw a lot more chaos and murder than he usually does, which sets him off during his young age.

He has the range to portray Batman, and his experience with various characters could make him a strong choice for the role. However, casting decisions for iconic characters like Batman often involve many factors, including the actor's voice range, previous work, and how well they fit with the vision for the character. If KC (Kevin Conroy) has passed away, finding a fitting successor is certainly a significant challenge, but Roger Craig Smith could potentially bring a fresh and compelling take to the role.
It sounds like you're referring to a game where there's a "Bale Suit" that's essentially a reskinned version of the default suit. Is this a common trend in the game you're playing, or is it a particular feature that stands out to you?

I honestly like Origins on par with City. Origins is faster, more interrogations, and with more places to go, and an interesting take on early Batman. City has the best Joker performance in the franchise, one of the best stories in the franchise, and amazing gameplay that was just as good in Origins.
Me too. I usually prefer faster tempo, better get confused than get bored. I hate to go mazes in a video game, more changes of scenery are a plus to me as well~ I totally understand what you are saying. Story-driven contents aside, video games during the past few years has a dramatic improvement. The control system is much more flexible. Some of the older games' controls are so rigid and robotic that it's no fun to play. In Arkham Asylum, Batman can't grapple boost and dive bomb while gliding. It gets so annoying to run slowly back and forth in a tiny island (and you must spend majority of the game time indoors, feeling all cooped up). But in Arkham City, it finally makes you feel flying and freely patrol a city like Batman himself. Although, Asylum's story is not bad -I like the scarecrow, love to see his return in the upcoming Arkham Knight~ City's story is great, and its boss fights are way more dynamic than Asylum... I also notice the newer games' tutorials are more user-friendly. The levels have more layers so there are constantly more new tricks to play with. The transitions are more seamless as well.
Scorpionspear77 And Origin's story is just fucking AWESOME, I absolutely LOVED the story! I've played all arkhams (Except knight) And the Origins story was just WOW!! I played it 6 times. In other words, I played I am the Knight twice.

It sounds like you're talking about a voice actor portraying a younger version of Bruce Wayne or a similar character. When a voice actor is tasked with playing a younger version of a character whose voice is typically deeper, it can sometimes sound like they're straining or adjusting their voice to fit the character's age. This can be an interesting dynamic, as it adds a layer of complexity to how the character is presented. If the voice actor is skilled, they might balance the youthful tone with the character's more mature traits effectively.

It sounds like you're comparing Batman's voice portrayal in different games. If you’re referring to the voice acting in "Batman: The Telltale Series" or another title, it's worth noting that different games and actors bring unique qualities to the character. In "Arkham Knight," Kevin Conroy's performance is iconic but can sometimes sound a bit different from his earlier roles due to the aging of his voice or the specific direction of the game. Each interpretation has its own strengths, so it's interesting to see how different games and voice actors bring their own spin to Batman.
I really love Roger Craig Smith. I think he has better voice than Kevin Conroy. I don't like so much this game itself except map size, main story (with all investigations and interrogations) and cold cold heart and I like Smith's voice like I just said. I think Arkham City is the best Arkham Game in my opinion. But nice work! This was great video. (btw sorry if my english is bad..)
Roger Craig Smith is known for his versatile voice acting, including roles like Chris Redfield in "Resident Evil" and Ezio Auditore in the "Assassin's Creed" series. His talent and range definitely set him apart. However, preferences for voice actors can be quite subjective, and different fans might have their own favorites based on the characters and roles they connect with. Do you have a particular favorite performance of his?
I don’t get it as soon as the bad guy says “I’ll tell u what u wanna know” Batman just knocks them out I mean do they skip ahead to not spoil it or does Batman reads minds
Roger Craig Smith and Kevin Conroy have each brought their own unique take to the role of Batman. Smith's portrayal is noted for its energetic and dynamic quality, while Conroy's performance is often praised for its depth and gravitas. Preferences for one over the other can come down to personal taste and which version of Batman resonates more with you. What aspects of Smith’s performance do you find most compelling?
Roger Craig Smith and Jensen Ackles are both talented voice actors, but their strengths lie in different areas. Roger Craig Smith is well-known for voicing characters like Chris Redfield from *Resident Evil* and Sonic the Hedgehog. Jensen Ackles is recognized for his role as Dean Winchester in *Supernatural* and has also done voice work in games like *Batman: The Long Halloween*. Preferences between the two often come down to personal taste and the specific roles they've performed. Each brings unique qualities to their craft.

Each interpretation has its own strengths, so it's interesting to see how different games and voice actors bring their own spin to Batman.

in arkham night they should give u an option to either knock the guy out or put him down.
Sashikala Friedman * knight
I didn’t know Batman have a pissed off voice.
2:36
Hang on. Shouldn't he wait till they gave him the info, and then knock them out cold?
The game skips the part where they tell Batman and they end it with him knocking them out.
One of these days one of these criminals are gonna be alot heavier than they look and he's not gonna be able to do that cool one handed carrying thing

Roger Craig rocks
I will say, I noticed that these scenes last shorter in arkham knight, obviously because he has more experience.

I think he's more intimidating while the Shock Gloves are on while he's interrogating them
Roger Craig Smith Is Better Than Any Non-Batman Voice.

0:13 that guy was threatened he fell unconscious before Batman even hit him😂😂😂
I don’t get it as soon as the bad guy says “I’ll tell u what u wanna know” Batman just knocks them out I mean do they skip ahead to not spoil it or does Batman reads minds
The game skips it.
Roger Craig Smith outclasses Conroy in my opinion.

Wait these guys are in the game????? I have never come across them before.
You have to go to Enigma's liar and then when he stops you from destroying his severs, Batman highlights where the 20 data handlers are.
Roger Craig Smith Is Better Than Jensen Ackles.

I like interrogation
NOW !
I don't need to. Now WHERE IS IT ?
Kids, if Batman ask you something, just tell him. Doesn't matter if you you're some scumbag informant or civilian, whatever. Just tell him.
After I beat the game, it wouldn't let interrogate the last data handler or the mercenary for the last case.
5:28 I'm not like other girls
He knocks them out before they tell him anything.
The game skips them telling him.
