This was one of my very first Gameboy games I possesed as a kid. I've never managed to memorize Shredders second phase pattern and never defeated him. Nice to see I was that close from finishing the game back then. Guess I was too young. I figured out the savegame codes pretty easily though 😇

This rescue is truly "radical". Fuse the Turtles with Metroidvania, and this is what you get.

This is such a fun game, a little more difficult than their 2nd metroidvania Danger of the ooze but I love both games! Great Longplay!

I remember playing this as a kid and "accidentally" discovering a password (1HHHHH2, iirc), which makes you go to the last stages (right before you have to fight all the bosses again + Shredder), and have all turtles freed + full HP. I was screaming when I found out, but sadly I was never able to beat it even with the password :')

Never had this one but beg my Mom to get for me had fall of the footclan and back from the sewers some of my favorite Gameboy games when I was a kid had my Gameboy from 1992 to 2015

I wish they'd revisit this concept of Metroidvania with TMNT. There's so much potential and so many fun gameplay mechanics. Very underappreciated game.

Never played this one. TMNT fused with Metroid is a really cool concept. They should make more games like this with Metroid elements.
