I appreciated your video and there are a few of these I have not read & have definitely noted. Thank You. You had mentioned some of the "Queens of Dark Thrillers". Can I also add Karin Slaughter to that list? In fact, her book called "False Witness" is unforgettable and will hang around long after you have read that last page. A recommendation. As you suggest, prepare yourself.

Your review of All good people here reminded me of several of Heather gudenkauf books. She can get dark and twisty. She is in my top 5 favorite authors. Thanks for giving my 3 more books for my TBR!
I just read All Good People Here last week. Couldn’t put it down! The very next book that I picked up was Please Tell Me by Mike Omer. Also really good! This was this first book 📕 be read by both authors and will definitely go back for more. PS - I adore your videos! I have to watch with Goodreads open so I can add to my TBR.

Love your recommendations. You should definitely check out All the Little Raindrops by Mia Sheridan. It is not what I expected from her but it was excellent, dark, captivating and unputdownable!
Recommend for You *** 1 book for you that took me so close to my limit, which I think you would love is: ***On The Savidge Side ***by Tiffany Mcdaniel. Twin Sisters that hold each other close to survive each day, but as a local woman's body is discovered dead in a river, they hold each other closer. ***Spiders on the pages, sends shivers all over your body** Drawing from the true story of the women killed in Chillicothe *** **Betty ** is also written by Tiffany, so impactful on me, but not sure if that would be for you. Both books hit me hard, never to leaving my bookshelf though. Mystery solving books that I have loved are by M W Craven, series, I know, but read as standalones, try The Botanist - insanely good!!! That's it, thanks for great recommendations so much appreciated.
I just read The Last Housewife and it was the first Ashley Winstead I’ve read…and yeah…that definitely belongs on a dark dark list lol it definitely gave me the wow factor and now I’m reading her other books…very impressed and awed by The last Housewife…it tops the dark and messed up for sure…I’m reading Northwoods by Amy Pease right now and so far so good…
My favorite is Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter. She is one of my favorites. I have read most on your list but added Rabbit Hole to my list. I too like dark and messed up. Thank you!📚
Do any of these books have explicit sexual content? I love the darker thrillers, but I can't do explicit sexual content. I'd love to read the widowmaker. The topics of assault or trauma is fine, as long as it's not on page. Thanks!
I’ve been watching your videos for so long that I’ve either read these or they are already on my TBR 😂😂 I just finished All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker. Not a thriller, but dark. He also wrote We Begin at the End which was also fantastic. I think you’d like both.

I recommend the Archie & Gretchen series (featuring a female serial killer) by Chelsea Cain. The first book is Heartsick.
I didn't get Last Housewife finished before it had to go back to the library and I'm trying to decide if I have the guts to finish it. 😬

Rabbit Hole 🤯 that was such a heavy book, I recently read Any Man by Amber Tamblyn very dark. I also think you would like She Left by Stacie Grey. ❤ 🎉
