I don't know about that, the slap part is pretty brittle here, the original is much smoother, not just the lovely tone of the Musicman Sabre but Mikey didn't sound like he was popping the high octaves so aggressively, more like he was using his thumb instead, take a listen. Otherwise finger style sounds really good here.
