- All American: Homecoming 1x08 "Just A Friend" Season 1 Episode 8 Promo - EVOLVING RELATIONSHIPS - When Damon (Peyton Alex Smith) goes home for a quick trip to get answers from his father about his adoption, Simone (Geffri Maya) drops everything to be his support system. Thea (Camille Hyde) and Nathaniel (guest star Rhoyle Ivy King) immerse themselves in sorority life by helping with the gala, but they discover sorority politics are no joke. JR (Sylvestor Powell) knows what he wants now and is ready to fight for it and Keisha (Netta Walker) helps push Cam (Mitchell Edwards) out of his comfort zone. I hope Simone friends don't get in her head that she's cheating, because she's consoling him as a friend. And if that's it then they're good, but knowing them they been on since they first met. So, I can't wait for the next episode and they better get another season too!!!!

Lol you're kidding right? They've been family friends since they were young, and the dynamic has always been like that. Tell me, has Jordan slept with Layla? Held her hand in a dark room being intimate? Kept secrets from Simone? Have a child and damn near introduce that said child to Layla before Simone? Lied shout health scare? The most he did was dance with Layla, but that was based off of Simone telling him to go with someone else, he could have taken things easy further than that. What those two are doing doesn't compare.
Plus, big difference, Damon isn't hiding how he feels about Simone. He KNOWS what he doing and is willingly making Simone aware of the fact that he's trying to slide in, while Simone intentionally plays dumb.
Love seeing the connection between Damon and Simone but I have a feeling they don't want to act on anything because of their friendship. I also want to throw the idea of Thea and Damon in the air based on 2 scenes in 2 episodes. One is where Thea was getting advice about go on a date and the second one is the last one where Damon show support to her. Also in the trailer there is a scene where he is laying in bed with a girl that looks like her.
Yeah he is lying in the bed with that girl Erika and I do like the vibes of Thea and Damon too. I also agree neither is trying to act on it either, but if they keep getting closer then that may happen.

I love the chemistry between Simone and Damon. However, they’re getting too close and I would hate for Simone to be so cliche and break up with Jordan because she met someone in college, its not a good look. feel that she should step off a bit, but Damon really doesn’t make it easy to do so.
It’s reality tho… A lot of high school relationships end in college. They may circle back later but it would be unrealistic if they didn’t break up honestly. Plus Jordan getting closer to Layla too.
