My Personal Journey on Handling ANXIOUS THOUGHTS (Part 1)

  • Welcome to Detour with Swetha - This is Unfiltered Thoughts Episode 7
    Here in this video I share with you my personal journey with handling my anxious thoughts. Part 1 of the video mainly shares about my nature with anxious thought patterns, how I recognize them and choose to view it in a different way.
    In the later part of the video I share about Fact vs Opinion strategy:
    Challenge negative thoughts: When you notice yourself having anxious thoughts, try to challenge them by asking yourself questions like, "Is this thought based on fact or just my perception?" or "What evidence do I have to support this thought?" This can help you gain perspective and realize that your anxious thoughts may not be as rational as they seem.
    I would like to share some points, which might be helpful to you:
    Handling anxious thoughts can be challenging, but there are several strategies that may help:
    Acknowledge and accept your anxiety: Trying to suppress or ignore anxious thoughts can sometimes make them worse. Instead, acknowledge that you're feeling anxious and accept that it's a normal human emotion.
    Practice mindfulness: Mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing exercises or meditation, can help you stay grounded in the present moment and reduce the power of anxious thoughts.
    Focus on what you can control: Anxiety often arises from feeling like things are out of your control. Focus on the aspects of a situation that you can control and take action where you can, rather than worrying about things that are beyond your control.
    Practice self-care: Taking care of your physical and emotional well-being can help reduce anxiety. Make sure you're getting enough sleep, eating well, exercising regularly, and engaging in activities that you enjoy.
    Remember, overcoming anxious thoughts is a process that takes time and practice. Be patient with yourself and celebrate small victories along the way.

    உண்மை சகோதரி நான் முயற்சி செய்திருக்கேன் ஆனால் அதையே தொடர்ந்து செய்ததில்லை.நம் மனம் நம்மை குழப்பிவிடாமல் இருக்க வேண்டுமென்றால் நம் மனதிடம் நான் பேச வேண்டும். மனம் சொல்லும்படியே போகாமல் நேரிடையாக மனதிடம் பேசும் போது நமக்குள் தெளிவு பிறக்கும்.இதையே தொடர்ந்து செய்துவர அது நம்முடைய பழக்கமாகி மனம் நம்மை கண்டபடி குழப்பவிடாமல் கட்டுப்படுத்தலாம்.

    நார்மல் வாழும் போது ஏற்படும் சிந்தனைகும்
    கடிமான சுயல் ஏற்படும் சிந்தனைகும் வித்யாம் இருக்கு
    நார்மல் சுயல் ஏற்பாடு சிந்தனை கடந்து விடலாம்
    ஆனால் கடிமான சுயல் ஏற்படும் சிந்தனை கடப்பது கடினம்
    அந்தா அந்த நேரத்தில் நம் வேறு நம் சிந்தனை வேறு பிரித்து பார்க்க வேண்டும்
    இப்படி பார்ப்பது கொஞ்சம் கடினம் ஆனால் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சம் பார்க்க காத்து கொண்ட எது உண்மை எது போய் பார்ப்பது எளிதாக இருக்கும் அப்படி சொல்லுறீங்க மாம்..😊

    I'm in srilanka
    I'm a university student
    I like to to study good results course eg : BSC , applied chemistry, IT
    But I filled the form wrong so I got environment science course
    I am now studying environment science
    But I suffering guilty feel to filled wrong
    I couldn't change anything

      Hello. I can understand. But I see that you have a deep desire to study well. Focus on what you can do. If that’s something you cannot change, do not let things beyond your control to consume you.
      In whatever field we are, if we have the determination we can excel. It’s the mindset. A strong mind can give us the power to win over a situation we are put in, My best wishes to you.
