There is one thing you always have to remember (which will also help you deal with losses.) The probabilities are NOT pure maths like they are with poker or dice. They are a representation of the OPINION of everyone with skin in the game. There are always outside variables involved which can GREATLY affect the outcome. Anything from red cards to an intimidating crowd. Just keep that in mind. Not pure probability but opinion.
Apparently in the long term the odds are a pretty good reflection of probability of a given event taking place. If a red card occurs the odds will correct to take into account this new information
An alternative entry point is after the first goal, especially if it’s an early goal. If you have faith in your prematch research on match selection then this entry point can be very profitable.

I am coming up too the end of the second month with this strategy, after watching your earlier videos, and I have only been using nominal £2 stakes and I am averaging over 60% so I will use £10stakes next month. Maybe you can do a video on what sort of market liquidity you should be looking at for higher stake’s. I wouldn’t mind giving your Pateron a try but I would need to know that there would be other market stratergies that you and your members use?
A very good and insightful video but I would like to add that you need to take into account recent form from both teams along with team news. For example Tottenham without Kane is much weaker than when he is playing and this will factor into the odds. Let's say a team has played 10 games at home this season, their form could be drastically different than their form over the last 3-5 games. You need to find a way to factor in both of these elements to find yourself with a far more accurate probability of the expected outcome.

When you say cash out straight away in the event of an early goal you need to allow a couple of minutes for the market to stabilise first or else you will be cashing out at a very unfavourable price. Furthermore, offering a price might be better than using the cash out function.
Good point Peter, this is what I did mean in the video, I just didn't word it very well. If you are tracking the under 1.5 goal market then you should have a reasonable idea of what are sensible odds to cash out at once the market unsuspends.

I m using this kind of strategy, and is working brilliant but i m doing a bit different. I m not making huge profits but every month i m on plus. I m gonna tell you how i m doing with a simple example is a match today Borussia Dortmund vs Mainz .On Under 3.5 goals the odd is 2.37 i m getting this odd before match is starting and after 15 min usually when is 0-0 the odd for over 3.5 is 2.30 i m getting again. So i ve got a profit between 30£-37£ per game.
The last question is that you only work on teams in the league that have a goal percentage above the league, thank you in advance and thank you for your teachings!

I do trade at the start of the season, but I am usually trading in play based on what I see rather than using stats (because there is no reliable data to use). I do keep in mind long term historical data for example, long term averages for number of goals in the first and second halves.

Interesting video. May I humbly ask if there is a possiblefallacy in your basic argument? Your key point is that the odds in the start of the match can’t represent the real probability of 2.5 goals during the whole match, and at the same time reflect the fact that the probability of a goal is greater in the second half than in the beginning of the match. Hence, we can systematicly gain profit from backing on kick-off and laying after the first 15-25 minutes. But isn’t this «2. half effect» included in the live odds for laying bets, every minute og the game? Isn’t what you call «market stalling» exactly the manifistation of that effect? During 1000 games, the stalling will exactly null the profit of your strategy, and leave you with negative EV due to fees?
Exactly what I was thinking when watching it. But perhaps market stalling may not 100% correlate with the anticipated slow start. It can also be the market just lagging behind while punters adjust. I have to say though that this video is a hundred times more informative, honest and straight to the point than the vast majority of other videos I've watched so I'm going to give the strategy a go.
Can the odds accurately reflect true probability and the higher likelihood of later goals by starting at the right number and decaying slowly to begin with and then accelerating? This seems to be the most efficient way for the market to behave to eliminate any edge.
From my personal experience I find that this often doesn't happen. It can happen of course, and my personal approach here is to cash out of these markets and move on to the next one. Usually, though if few chances are being created in the game, I find that the odds will come in at a normal rate.
I just wanted to comment on what has happened in my case. I followed your advice to the letter, putting £100 in my bank to see how it went. I have had four consecutive games where a team scored within 4 minutes, so I lost on every one. My bank went from £100 to just over £6. I have not even tried to calculate how many wins I would need just to get back what I have lost.
Hi John, It sounds like you are using stakes far too big for your bank roll, With a £100 bank roll using 1-3% stakes should be £1-£3 per trade. Correct staking is essential to avoid variance which you have experienced in your trades Kie
You are staking far too high Kie has rightly said you need to be staking lower. I think £1-£3 is a little conservative for this strategy as it is pretty low risk. I think 5% is fine so £5 a trade on a £100 bank for this strategy. An early goal will see you lose around 60% of your stake so after 4 losses you should be looking at around a £12 loss and still have a bank of £88 The fact you lost £94 in 4 trades isn't Kie or the strategies fault. It is down to your poor BRM (bankroll management)
I have played over 2.5 goals for the last 11 years and even games that should have goals finished unders. From my betfair account i can see im down by 97k. When i try under 2.5 i lose on that as well. Where am i going wrong nearly 100k loss please help. Thank you

I just wanted to comment on what has happened in my case. I followed your advice to the letter, putting £100 in my bank to see how it went. I have had four consecutive games where a team scored within 4 minutes, so I lost on every one. My bank went from £100 to just over £6. I have not even tried to calculate how many wins I would need just to get back what I have lost.
Hi John, It sounds like you are using stakes far too big for your bank roll, With a £100 bank roll using 1-3% stakes should be £1-£3 per trade. Correct staking is essential to avoid variance which you have experienced in your trades

You are staking far too high
Kie has rightly said you need to be staking lower. I think £1-£3 is a little conservative for this strategy as it is pretty low risk. I think 5% is fine so £5 a trade on a £100 bank for this strategy.
An early goal will see you lose around 60% of your stake so after 4 losses you should be looking at around a £12 loss and still have a bank of £88
The fact you lost £94 in 4 trades isn't Kie or the strategies fault. It is down to your poor BRM (bankroll management)
I have played over 2.5 goals for the last 11 years and even games that should have goals finished unders. From my betfair account i can see im down by 97k. When i try under 2.5 i lose on that as well. Where am i going wrong nearly 100k loss please help. Thank you
