Great film! Just watched it on Talking Pictures where it had been broadcast in widescreen 16:9. I think it been cropped and zoomed slightly to fill the screen. The DVD is 4:3. I don't know if a cinema version (16:9) exists. It's a shame Network DVD didn't release the film on DVD because they would have done a great job restoring it.
wow a real from the vaults film version of nearest and ever flaming dearest pain . all the rotten jokes and malapropism from Hilda Baker , her faithful in house cast and veteran jimmy jewel > Grenada tv produce the home grown flavour of rhubarb comedy .. wharra delight
