This is such a great cane, really fun! I'm surprised at the 50/50 mix - I would have thought the black would be too overpowering. It isn't though, it looks perfect. xx

I tried this out yesterday and I loved how it looked. I did have an issue and I would like your advice. After I made the cane, sliced it and put it into a slab. The squares wouldn’t stick and they kept wanting to separate. Did I not condition it enough or could it be the cold weather? Do you run it through the pasta maker before using cutters? Help would be much appreciated:) thank you for your videos!

I am so excited about this. Just watched the Christmas Sweat intro and was so excited to order that intro. That will most likely explain what I am fixing to ask, but do you make a larger piece by cutting and putting them together before you bake the cane? I know this is probably a stupid question, but I am so new to all this. Thank you so much!

Hi Cindy, I was wondering if you have a video on clay appliqué or embroidery technique. I did a search but couldn't find it. The pieces on them are so delicate. There is a lot of information to know for baking and making sure the embroidered clay pieces do not fall off. They are gorgeous and my favorite thing to do but very hard to get the pattern even among other things.
