    Dear sir,
"We're currently using SAP Script to extract data and then employing VBA automation to dump it into Excel. This script operates directly within Excel.
I understand that a similar process is possible in Power BI.
My query is: Is there a direct link or integration method to connect SAP directly to Power BI, bypassing the intermediate Excel step? This would streamline the data extraction and analysis process."
Or, for a more concise version:

after you have pasted the data in Excel, select any cell in the data and see if you have "table design" or "design" ribbons. If so, you have a table. Go to that ribbon and check the table name in the corner. Change it to "staff".
If you don't have that ribbon, while keeping any one cell selected, press CTRL+T and create the table. Now change the name to "staff"
