How Oz Scarecrow lost is absolutely beyond me (I admit his second verse was weak, but he wiped the floor with Crane in his first verse)

@@lawbook788 Guy Fawkes had the best verse of the whole battle (and arguably the best in the channel's history) and yet he STILL couldn't keep up with Robin Hood (his first verse actually was 100 times better written compared to ERB's battle with Guy Fawkes)
Crane kept up his heat, Oz Scarecrow fizzled after his first verse.
I mean it was a 1% difference, It was a very close battle.
The only battle i REALLY can't understand the victor for is the scarecrow one. All i heard out of DC were just threats. Oz came after his SOUL in the first verse and the second was just some light clean up.
The DC Scarecrow actually had some good lines, such as the asbestos line as an example. I feel like there are DC fans that are biased while also several who go the objective route, but honestly I don’t think DC Scarecrow underperformed. I do agree however that the Oz Scarecrow won.
I’m so happy that most of my choices won this year, especially Scarecrow (DC).
The only ones I voted for who lost were Winston and Cthulhu.

To be fair the Winston vs Dk was kinda close but at the end of the day the daddy line and wrapping like Chrismas lines are Don Demarcos to the heart
And also there were some lines from Cthulhu that I missed in his 2nd but overall I still think Kraken got it

Most people won't be but I am ABSOLUTELY EXTATIC about Crane winning. I was so convinced he would get destroyed but man I am happy. I feel like I may have accidentally rigged it a little bit... okay well not rigged but let me explain. By sheer dumb luck I managed to stumble upon the YT vote for that battle literally less than a minute before it was posted. I voted for Crane because I thought he won and I overall just preferred how he sounded and thought he had more complex bars. So since it was so recent he was destroying Oz in the votes. I think after that either a bunch of like-minded people continued to vote for Crane because they thought he won, or people may have voted just because he was already winning. Either way he won in the end lmao.

Pretty good year, only 3 loses. 2 if you don't count the rap cypher. Can't win 'em all. Battle wise this has been my favorite year yet, no individual battle has beaten Dice vs Oogie for me yet but in terms of overall consistent high quality, this takes the cake.

I felt like Dream, Syndrome, Bakugo, Scarecrow (OZ), Frankenstein, and Natsuki should of won.
Dream - Look I know everyone doesn't like Dream, and I don't like Dream, but his verses were fire and I know Nagito would love getting roasted, but that's not the point of a rap battle. It's about who has better roast and flow in their verses. Nagitos roasts were ok, but I wouldn't say they are better than Dream's since he was literally dissing nagito's luck, worth, etc.
Syndrome - Syndrome went hard in his roast and flow so I'm surprised people picked Billy. I don't know what made Billy win but I felt Syndrome should've took the W.
Bakugo - Bakugo went hard in all his verses with him dissing Inosuko's mom and other things and you're telling me that when Inosuke going hard in his last verse gets him the W. Bakugo had clever lines and they were way better than Inosuke's so I'm kind of mad that he didn't win.
Scarecrow (OZ) - *Sigh* Do I really need to explain?
Frankenstein - Victor and Frankenstein went hard about Bruce and Hulk's life, talking about his mom, dad, etc. I was expecting him to win, but of course Hulk's last verse "apparently" had a great comeback. I mean "Sad monster have two hearts, but nobody to share with!" Is definitely a great comeback.
Natsuki - She went hard on Raven's life, and mom. Yet somehow Raven talking about the players love with Natsuki are better disses. This is basically Frankenstein and Hulk all over again.
I just want to comment this because I felt like these characters wins were robbed, however these are jut my opinions.

Something i really don't get it's why Crane won, like i understand, in my opinion Scarecrow (OZ) second verse is one of the middest things on the planet, but seriously? His first verse was a KILLER, literally nothing Crane could have said would save him, like at best his voice is more catchy?
And my main question... Why Robin Hood? Sure, he was fire, but oh my god how the hell did he won the votes? Reading the comments at the time most people were saying about flow and his second verse, but imo Guy's second verse is way better and flow and Robin's best verse was the first one, so i really don't get it, this one for me is like that if Eleven have won the vote

I will fight anyone for my opinions on Guy Fawkes, Frankenstein and Natsuki. My favourite of the year was oddly enough, Dracula VS Morbius. Ok everyone listen up I have so many thoughts:
First of all I am SO GLAD that Harry did not win the Mysterio battle as it is BY FAR (imo of course) the most one-sided battle Freshy Kanal has EVER DONE PERIOD. The one that shocked me the most is Dream getting the most votes in the Form despite Nagito winning the whole thing. That to me proves the difference between performing for the room and for the camera like Scru Face Jean said. Those people must've been like I predicted and that Dream may have won the room over, and usually who wins, but if you break it down bar for bar and analyze it, you realize how badly the other person got destroyed. Nagito was performing for the camera and giving us multi-layed punches in which the only people I can compare him to is Loaded Lux or Ayverb. Combine that with Snakebite's amazing wordplay and the best 8 bars that has ever been in a Freshy Kanal battle and you have one of my all-time favorite solo performances on this chamnel. The one that is the least surprising to me is Matilda, that was easily Azia's best solo performance BY FAR. The bars were insanely disrespectful and the way she performed was FLAWLESS. It was no wonder she destroyed Eleven (though I would argue this is actually closer than yall think break down Eleven's bars). There were also ones that I personally disagree with like Pringles or Syndrome losing. But the one that I am the most salty about is the Scarecrow battle. I'm sorry, but there is NO WAY ON EARTH you can convince me that Oz didn't absolutely demolish DC, 1st is the best of the battle, and his punches were more disrespectful that anything that came out of DC, disappointed. Happy for Keyblade to win the Fairytale Cypher, he deserved it (though Shwabadi's hit different). Ok that's all this was a great year for battles and I hope for more to come, I'm really excited for Travis Scott vs Micheal Scott. I'm out.

I don’t think Mysterio vs. Harry Houdini was super one-sided. I’m sure you were somehow influence by YouLoveSkyler there. What surprised me was how few people thought Houdini won (I honestly expected more after having watched the battle for the first time thanks to JosiahGAmesTV’s reaction, where in the end he said Houdini won).

Id argue by saying that IMO, The Nutcracker, Julius Pringles, Syndrome, and Victor Frankenstein (and later Frankenstein’s Monster) all won their respective battles, and Freshy Kanal voiced all of them. Especially for the latter three, I cannot agree with the overall votes.

Honestly, in rap cyphers, there is no winner. Instead, there is “the performer who had the best verse in one’s opinion”. So truly, no one won that cypher. But you can say who in your opinion has the best verse.
How did Robin Hood win? He spat fire, but Fawkes was just a gigachad with a amazing flow and roasts in the second verse, and shrugged out Robin's attacks. And his last line gives the chills.
Nagito's votes where definitely biased cuz he is from danganronpa look now I'm not a dream stan actually I never watched a single video of his but the only good roast I can remember from Nagito was keep the mask on other than that dream had a better verse
