Remembering Beloved NYC Celebrity Flaco the Owl February 26 2024

Heartfelt tributes are flowing in for Flaco, the cherished Eurasian eagle-owl who stole the hearts of New Yorkers with his incredible adventure of breaking free from the Central Park Zoo and taking flight across Manhattan. Sadly, Flaco was discovered on a sidewalk in New York City on Friday night (2/23), apparently having accidentally collided with a building.
Flaco's favorite oak tree on the west side of East Drive at104th St. in Manhattan.
