Years ago I held John Lewis's hands during an event in Atlanta. That memory of gesture with the same man brings up just how connected so many people can be to one another. We've been so divided by the refusal of that connection for no good reasons. That is the truth. There have been a small group of greedy people pushing the family of America apart. Because the greedy think the easiest way to gain property that is not theirs, is to divide those who stand together by fearmongering so they will just fall down. Lovely lady. Thanks!
This women is PART OF HISTORY. Her father KNOWING his limitations and what mattered MOST! I quote her fathers words to this day. "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.
Lyndon B. Johnson
My middle name is Lyndon and my nickname was Bird. I just started Medicare last month and I'm grateful. Lyndon Johnson was majority leader and into civil rights. My folks were forward thinking ... this was 5 years before he signed the civil rights act. Lovely to hear this strong woman fortified by true ethics and legacy.
It was wonderful to see Johnson's daughter. She looks beautiful. Bless her heart ❤️😘🤗🥰💙💙💙🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

I Love this Wonderful Woman ❤❤🎉🎉❤❤🎉🎉❤❤ 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇲
What a lovely lady! I remember when she was a teenager. So glad to see her still active in politics & supporting both Biden & Harris.
Thank you very much, Mrs. Johnson
She sounds like her dad! LBJ wasn’t perfect, but he was relentless in pursuit of “a more perfect union”
Luci is such a great speaker. I very much enjoy her stories over the years.
Thank you to you and your family for supporting your dad, Lyndon B. Johnson, for all the work he did signing Civil Rights Acts into law while he was president. Such a poignant testimony to your dad and President Biden, two great, courageous presidents.
Texas highways are lined with beautiful flowers, thanks to Ladybird Johnson. Not having to mow as often saves the state millions.
Which penitentiary will they put the Trump library in?

That makes a total of $100.00 thus far.
You might want to check and see if act blue isn't using your name to donate more using your name to launder their transaction
Why corrupt wall street picked her they don't need your money dumdem
@@insightoftheages5571 hahaha....Biden voters aren't smart enough to notice nor care about Chinese money for democrats
I am 72 years old. I remember this time. I'm tears watching her talk about her father. Unfortunately the Vietnam War took away his civil rights accomplishments.

Who killed JFK😢
Thank you Lucy! Your dad stepped up when he was needed after the assassination of JFK. You could see the devastation on his face. He did his best to get our country back on its feet. BTW, you look just like Ladybird, your mom. Thank you for speaking up and out.
Agreed! Vote Blue!
Thank you Lucy❤
I just volunteered to get out the vote for Kamala Harris.

Are you joining in on the “White Dudes for Harris” virtual event? 😆
She is a breath of fresh air. Hopeful, energetic, patriotism that spans decades.
I've never seen Democrats come together like we have behind Kamala. We know how important it is to keep the White House. There are important issues that need to be addressed and everything will will be made so much worse if Project 2025 happens.
Thank you for continuing this fight. Beautifull
Shes so eloquent and that jacket or whatever shes wearing is gorgeous. Chanel?
I love this lady❤ Thank you!
Ok, people trump is 3 years behind President Biden and also having some of the same issues.
No he’s not…..Biden has been like this for years …… he’s a very short journey to a nursing home…..
In no way is that true. Not even close. The fact that the media and his staff ALL lied for years about this shows you who and what they are.
Trumpites don’t care. You must know that by now. They don’t care!
Yeah try again NOT even close

Much respect for Luci Johnson. She's a good woman who loves her country. Bless you.
Biden will go down as 1 of the greatest Dem Presidents to ever preside.
Wow. Lucy looks fantastic!!!
2:05 I teared up when I heard Luci Baines Johnson say she held John Lewis's hands as she walked with him and Joe Biden as they walked over the Pettis Bridge years ago. But we have been showing them not everyone falls for tricks.
Thank you for an articulate, intelligent, and thoughtful post. I appreciate you.
So good to see her!
The last time any American President performed that magnificently - it was Martin Sheen.
