- Guy Williams' Daughter Finally Confirms the Rumors
Guy Williams is best known for quite possibly the best portrayal of the “The Horseman known as Zorro.” Throughout the nineteen fifties and beyond, Guy had the entire world in a chokehold thanks to his amazing performance, but the lives of Hollywood actors are often charmed.
Following his retirement, however, he went completely off the radar until he was found passed away in his home in Argentina. Now, decades after his passing, his daughter finally confirms the rumors about him, so let's get right into it.
There will never be another Zorro like Guy Williams
I loved Guy Williams in Zorro! He was my lifelong hero! And I loved him in Lost in Space. He grew more handsome with age. I was devastated when I read in July 1989 that he'd died two months earlier.
I grew up in the Bronx 1962-1985. I didn't know Guy Williams grew up there as well. 65 is so young, I'm 62.
I loved him as professor John Robinson on lost in space
Lost in Space is my all time favorite show!
He was gorgeous and a good actor!
My Childhood Hero!! My favorite childhood Christmas gift a Zorro Suit!! Rest In Peace Guy 🛐
I always liked the actor,he was great as zorro!!
Billy Mumy said he loved doing scenes with Guy in Lost In Space.
He was a handsome man. As a young boy, I enjoyed the adventures of Zorro. I got in trouble one time for writing the name of "Zoro" with fingernail polish on the inside of a cabinet door. My mom said she didn't punish me because I wrote it, but because I mispelled "Zorro." I liked the "Lost in Space" TV show, but I also read and collected the "Lost in Space" comic books. I had quite a few of the comics and know I had the first two issues of this comic. Spider Man was also a favorite, and I also had the first couple of issues of the Silver Surfer. What happened to these comics (that were in the attic when I went off to college)? My mom & favorite aunt got into a cleaning mode while I was off at school and threw them all away. Oh boy!
I loved him in Zorro. I would wake up Thursday mornings when a young girl so excited because I knew Zorro would be on TV that night. I had a real crush on Guy Williams.
I grew up loving Zorro. I remember Sinbad. My opinion the best Sinbad movie ever. Then Lost in Space like Batman was a little campy but a lot of fun. I liked the entire cast except for Zackary Smith ( Jonathan Harris) thats why I became a fan of Don West (Mark Goddard) He didn't want to put up with Smith. I think LIS was the fist Sci-Fi Space series on TV. I did get the DVD of the series. So I could relive my youth.
Guy must have been disappointed with Lost in Space .it was a serious role but then later it went down hill.
GREAT ACTOR
A sad ending to a great actor.
To me, Guy Williams is the
ultimate Zorro!
The same way George Reeves is the
ultimate Superman.
He was a very handsome guy
I was a big fan myself as a small child in the 60's.
Argentina still loves him
When john robinson uses the jet pack he has his first season outfit on under the jacket.
Doctor John Robinson, Lost In Space
Think he was Sicilian.
I loved the shows... Zorro & Lost in Space (!)
Remember Zorro The Gay Blade, comedy movie with George Hamilton?
GreatZorro,
Gr8 Zorro! Too many shots of Tyrone Power and some other guys...
He should have played Obi-Wan in Star wars.
I have a crush on him playing ZORRO !!!
❤❤❤❤😢
All of them!
He was a fox in lost in Space
Always "Zorro" was and still.
He looks very Latino😂🎉
Michael Landon was so jealous of him he got him fired from Bonanza. He was supposed to be the replacement of Pernell Roberts.
Good to see that Fox has Laura Ingraham doing what she's best at: nothing.
If Laura Ingraham is a female impersonator, I've seen better.
ONE OF MY FIRST HEROS AS A YOUNG BOY ZORRO AND SUPERMAN.! I LOVED THE CHEMESTRY BETWEEN ZORRO AND SERGEANT GARCIA! ALWAYS REMEMBERED AT 73 NOW!
