Respectfully,, in major fires like this? Firefighters must pull back. Seek to only Save Lives. Plus plan a Fire Wall/Fire Break. Not save multiple structures. There's never enough engines,water or Firefighters to save ALL these structures now engulfed.
High winds knocked down a power line and sparked the fire. There were reports of wind speeds up to 100mph in some areas. Also, Colorado hasn't seen much precipitation this year. It was all a perfect storm
All of Colorado is experiencing drought for the passed couple years. Up to 110 mph winds spread thr fire quickly. Welcome to the consequences of climate change.
@@classicwhitebread Thanks for the info. It seemed the wrong season for wild fire. I lived in Colorado Springs 1984-1989 and remember an ideal climate with four distinct seasons. Where I live now has only two distinct seasons...the wet and cool season and the wetter and cooler season.
