as in use the game launcher to switch from DX12 to DX11 it will run better, this video is retarded as fuck. DX11 disables raytracing and DLSS but gives a lot better performance
performance is not an issue for me, its the bloody blurry visuals even though I have the game running on the max resolution possible and max refresh rate.
Yeah those blurry visuals are what I couldn't get rid of, also for me I had heavily pixelated NPCs everywhere unless I got up in their face. Notice I say had? I gave up trying to make the game playable after like 2 hours of crashes and settings changes.
Ig im too late but, the blue is due to Anti Aliasing. If u choose anything except the FXAA or none you will get blurred visuals. Even on DLSS. Just choose FXAA or off. There will be jagged lines but small price to pay for amazing visuals
Lil late but i got the series X and decided to get this game again at the beginning when the game tells you to use your witcher senses. I cant use it im pressing and holding LT but its not working. Im using Power A controller.
@@LordZan it doesnt help sadly and it seems like this is a problem on PS5 next gen version only because i was searching and saw a lot of reddit posts where people are describing the same issue on PS5. Guess we can only hope for CD Projekt Red to fix it.
Action log not working as intended. Not will show up for a few seconds then stops... Action log is the option to show dps of weapon and what you pick up. Anyone else action log not working??
Dude I thought I was the only one 😂 I just bought for my series s and the noise is fine but I can hardly hear my sword clinging when I'm hitting enemies like normal games would. Breaks the immersion for me plz tell me you found a fix?
What I want to know, why I watched the vid for, is if we can change the main menu title screen and music. In the OG game there is a different menu screen with different music for the vanilla then both DLC expansions. So is there an option to change that on the main menu?
Appreciate the tips but really didn't help me reset my keybindings on PC. I use Keyboard and prefer to set my movement keys to the arrow keys. Would have been nice to know how to reset them. :(
In the keybindings tab there's a little option at the bottom to 'unlock keybinds', you have to toggle that first and then you can rebind keys. Hope that helps :)
Thankyou, I was looking for a video like this! What I still do not understand is: In Your graphics menue "Ray Tracing (Global Illumination)" is enabled to switched on or off. In my menue it is greyed out, so I cannot change that it is "off". And honestly I do not understand why it is greyed out. Do I have to enable raytracing by changing another setting somewhere else in the menue tree? And if so: What would I have to change? Or did the game check my hardware and found that I cannot use it anyway? Another question would be: how do You find out what FPS You are actually getting? I am on Steam and there I can in principle activate to see the FPS in the corner of the screen. This worked fine with version 1.32 of Witcher 3 as well as with other games (e.g. Assassins Creed Odyssey). But with the Next Gen upgrade it does not work any longer (just now, when it would be so interesting....). I googled a bit and found that the Next Gen is actively blocking that info. Do You know if there is a way around that problem?
With the 1650 you can use amd fsr2 in the dx12 (updated next gen) version of the game. It should give you more fps especially this sound like a laptop version.
Honestly not too sure, I haven’t seen anyone with that issue but I wouldn’t be surprised if other people are experiencing it too. Best thing to do really is hope for a patch or try and find a fix online
the game runs better in DX11 mode if you are gonna play without RT, this youtuber is just dumb af making pointless videos instead of finding the right information.
Ive been trying to find a way to turn on next-gen graphics because I literally can't see a difference and I've been playing the game since 2018 pretty steadily. If this is enabled by default then this is all placebo.
Same here Matej, no matter what I tried to do it's a mess that's not even nice to look at, Skyrim looks 100 times better than this Netflix game CDPR have created now.
Good video. Shame I wasn't able to make the game playable for myself, I have a 5700g it ran the game fine before the updates, now I can't get it to look good. Everything is a pixelated/blurry mess unless I'm right next to it. Spent like 2 hours messing around with the settings & even tried to use Dx11 but that failed with crashing on cutscenes. There seems to be no advice or tips for anyone with less than a 3k series GPU. Shame they had to force the updates on everyone, I used to be able to play the game now I can't.
I could play it high quality perfectly before the update but now my game lags sooo much that it makes it so hard to enjoy it. It just makes me want to cry
1:10 on headphones choose 3D headphones. The sound is wat better and surrounding than the regular option
Ah damn I didn’t know that, appreciate the comment!
Thanks bro it sounds so good now
I turned on the new close camera I like it better than the farther camera it looks so much cooler in combat having a closer camera
Yeah, I quite like it
Man it’s so annoying that every time I run, I accidentally call horse and seem can’t change controller layout.
Ah yeah that’s annoying
Happens to me during fighting… and not to rarely
SAME. Glad I’m not the only one lmao
Agree
Literally smashed it. Such a simple guide and now my game runs so well :) Staying around 60 constantly!!
this guide is dog shit, if you turned off all ray tracing just go to DX11 and you'll get 90-100 FPS instead of 60
as in use the game launcher to switch from DX12 to DX11 it will run better, this video is retarded as fuck. DX11 disables raytracing and DLSS but gives a lot better performance
That’s awesome, so glad I could help!
Don't lie. You go on Novigrad or Oxenfurt at ultra+ settings and you re NOT hitting 60 fps at all.
this is the first video i've ever played and you're not explaining ANYTHING !!!
performance is not an issue for me, its the bloody blurry visuals even though I have the game running on the max resolution possible and max refresh rate.

Should I go with Manual sheathing and auto blade oil?
Very useful video LordZan!
Thank you!
How do you turn the enemy counter indicator on?
i have exactly the same graphic settings but its not close at all to comparison grass is awfull and the rest things
Is there an option to do attacks with L1 and R1 instead of hitting with Square and Triangle??
Possibly? I haven’t seen anything on that though
Dark souls player? I feel you
This. God damn after playing so much elden ring it's annoying
I was tryna do the same thing
There are blurry faces during cutscenes, first i notice this in Novigrad and now in Skellige. Does anyone else have this issue?
Weird, try changing the motion blur setting

I haven’t heard about any issues with that, might be best to just wait for a patch
How to Remove spell aim assist or controller target assist from ps5
why don't i have the HUD settings?
Might only be on PC
Wish i could configure hud on cyberpunk. Have to sit inside tv to read anything.
Yeah that sucks
I am playing the Witcher on my series s and the audio is super quiet whenever I enter combat and idea how to fix?
In the audio settings switch between the different output options such as speakers and headphones

@@LordZan no there isn’t. They made the main menu screen dynamic. So it just changes every now and then when you load the game.
Only way to get the old menu back is to use Dx11

Does it revert back to the OG screen and only change to the DLC screens when you start to DLCs?

I have Intel i7-9750H 2,6 GHz and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

Check if u have DX11 enable. Raytracing is only available on DX12. I need to click the settings icon during launch
my game looks realy grainy with sharpening, and I can't use DLSS

Is it still free ATM?
Yes!
Performance mode is actually higher resolution than Ray Tracing on Console.
Yeah, only found that out recently to be fair

There should just be an option to delete the save when you’re hovering over it
