Amber saying, “you should look up what he did” and then doing the cosby hands and face from his show intro and the band playing along had me dying! That was hilarious, and the whole segment was gold! The jokes are secondary to the giddy joy of these three messing with each other and having a ball. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

What I love about Seth is that he s the only one of the main late show tv hosts who openly talk about his team and especially the writers. I ve never seen the others do so. Amber and Jenny seemed to be as happy as him… and hopefully in a while we ll have a surprise inspection too 😊

I’ve seen him perform live and he has a special on Netflix called Lobby Baby. So SNL should have nothing to do with why his show is different from the others.

The list wouldn't just be about any black shows but those that provide positive addition AND long lasting legacy and pride. Given the SA crimes he has been accused and even admitted to under the legal protection of deposition, his connection makes people not want to reference his show due to it's legacy being tainted.
I've never wanted to be in the writers room more than I have now knowing that there was a portion of the day where Amber was trying to teach Seth how to say that punchline.
What a treat! We had hilarious jokes, the delightful trio back together again, AND dinner theatre! (Seth and Jenny acting out a couple blaming each other for their kid being gay, complete with miming rolling over away from each other and covering up with the blanket... lol, and scene. I'm a former sportswriter who worked in Philly in the late '80s (before we knew of his dark side), and saw Cosby at many Temple basketball games. So I got the joke right off the bat.
This was great, jokes were great but the banter and everything in-between was EPIC and seemed like a fun "warm up" for this segment after the strike ended

I keep watching all the late night shows and getting teary-eyed at how glad I am that comedy is still being written by humans. Thanks for the sacrifices you made by striking, writers union.

I loved watching the three of you laughing at each other! It was like watching a bunch of drunk mom's at a birthday party.
I laughed out loud at the Cosby joke.
This is what comedy is: telling truths in a way we can all digest and laugh at. And it might inspire some of us to self-reflect, too, in a non-defensive way. A great segment!
Love these segments. Also, that was so happy and delightful. I love how much breaking of character happened, and how much joy was shared. The jokes were pretty tip top too! lol

I love how much fun they're having. Ironically I randomly saw a video about people hiding what they knew about Cosby today and learned he went to Temple University, so I did get Amber's joke. (Loved you and your sister's book Amber.)
I'm a former sportswriter who worked in Philly in the late '80s (before we knew of his dark side), and saw Cosby at many Temple basketball games. So I got the joke right off the bat.
After listening to the podcast, theres nothing better then Amber's joke falling flat and Seth's ABSOLUTE joy in the fact that it bombed.
It didn't bomb dillweed. It's dark humor, designed to get a reaction not necessarily a laugh
So much joy radiating from all parties cos their so glad to be back and in each other's company, so so good. We missed you too guys!

This was great, jokes were great but the banter and everything in-between was EPIC and seemed like a fun "warm up" for this segment after the strike ended

One of my favorite segments!!!! But any sketch Amber is in is brilliant!!! Seth sets her & Jenny up so well. That’s really what makes this segment work. The chemistry.
