Fowler is Public enemy No1 for United fans. Why? Because he played for Liverpool, Leeds United AND Manchester City!
United has still got fans ? I thought it was a midtable dead club hahaha
OLES AT THE WHEEL!!!! Hahahahaha
That's part of the reason we love him so much. Also, he is God!
@@stevet1237 Those who have a red heart can rejoice for they have seen God.
He always scored against Utd as well 😃
Brilliant player brilliant Adidas kits
Class act
can't get this type of loyalty in players these days
never forget growler
Robbie in a villa shirt if only.
God 🙌
Alan Shearer, Teddy Sheringham, Les Ferdinand, Ian Wright, Robbie Fowler, Andy Cole, Michael Owen, Chris Sutton. England had some unreal strikers mid to late 90’s
I wish England still had a boss team like that
Oli Coulson he won the league with Blackburn
TopBins yet this england squad did better in the WC. We lacked a good manager for ages.
@Wu Beach Boy yeah stan was talented but after forrest he never done much wasted career
Oli Coulson Did score a fair few goals for Blackburn when winning the league, put him in mainly for the Shearer partnership tbh
Steve Mcmanaman would be a great person to do this with
Class man and one of the most lethal finishers I have ever seen
He is a top man
He still has it aswell, recently watched him play, natural goalscorer 👍
Gavin star true he is class
@Wayne he said himself he's has red as they come ❤️
Dudes the perfect presenter... Why hasn't he done more?!
Hi I'm late and yes he was brilliant because when he was with Pep, Pep seemed tired and not bothered but at the end, Pep was more energetic and interested
I was stood waiting for a Bus when I received a Text from one of my mates that Robbie had re-signed for Liverpool - could not describe that feeling of elation.
I cried when he left and again when he came back.
I was in Argentina and shouted a huge yes in the street in BA. couldn’t believe it
I had issues with my phone and couldn`t call anyone, I just ran around at home full of joy and with no one to share it with:) I still feel the joy of having God back :)
Only for Liverpool to sell him to Cardiff City 18 months later
I was cried when he left the Liverpool. No one can't replace his place number 9 for few years, until Torres joining.
Can tell within minutes of watching this as a Liverpool fan he gets what pulling that shirt on means to the fans
He was a evertonian fan
@@Rob-wd7bd😂😂, Good joke 🤡🤡🤡
Loved the celebration with the white line.... forever a premier league memory!! Before footballers were put on a pedalstool. Classic.
The Rigobert Song at Lens comment from Houllier was funny when try to explain that celebration.
@@eddy4688 haha he was eating the grass!
pedestal!
Brad The Impaler pmsl! His spelling is funny mind 😂
And the looking at the watch celebration with Macca (after the Arsenal hat trick i think)
As a United fan Robbie Fowler was the most down to earth Liverpool player some of those 90s kits are iconic even to me.
The badge is what matters. No one plays for the badge anymore. Just money
I’d say it’s now a job to players where as in the 60-70-80-90’s it was a passion and more like a privilege to play football in the higher leagues. Today the lifestyle is more important than the career
i believe trent, robertson, gini, keita, mane all play for the badge
Every single player in the team today okay for that badge. Liverpool may be the only team left that do.
MrYouarethecancer Bullshit to say Liverpool are the only team where it’s players have pride in wearing the shirt. Absolute bullshit. This is part of the reason why so many people can’t stand Liverpool supporters...
That’s prem teams I support a non league team and they all play for passion
Fowler - one of Liverpool's greatest ever strikers
What a brilliant interviewee and a great addition to the series.
Is there a longer version that discusses his wider career? Would be interested to hear about his time in between his spells at Liverpool.
His book is excellent.
Lies again? Full Of Women
what about his greatest achievement .. playing for north queensland fury
13:34 “Reebok” Ahh yes the famous brand with the 3 stripes: Reebok! 🥴
Would love Liverpool to go back to Adidas at some point.
new balance are cool sponsors but those three adidas stripes are something else
Yes mate!
They're going to Nike
I liked the bit where he spoke about his Leeds United and Man City shirts.
Fowler over owen anyday, class, skill, and loyalty
Was always a Fowler man myself
I named my first pet Robbie. The best goldfish I ever had. Some of these kits though... So annoyed I sold them at a car boot when I out grew them. The 95’ home and away. I’ll have to hunt them down on eBay!
Who else would you like to see featured in an episode of What I Wore? Let us know 👍

Dam...i had the biggest crush on robbie 😍 way back in the 90s. ...still would 😆
Watch out...he is lethal in the box. 😀
@@jimrad3 OMG. This deserves more likes.

He took 3 Liverpool shirts 😂😂😂
LOVED that green and white 95-96 spiceboys away kit
Teddy sherringham would be good on this
Iam Liverpool FAN FROM 1993Fowler HAS HAD INDEED ONE OF THE BEST STRIKE RATES AGAINST YOUR ARSENALS NEWCASTLE EVERTON MANCITY spurs & the red half of manchester.FACT!!!!!
He absolutely ADORED Villa too.. Everyone felt that wand of a left peg... The best Liverpool striker of MY generation imo and one of THE best finishers i've EVER seen.. EVER.. We don't call him GOD for nothing
Alright Ernie, calm down calm down soft lad.
TOP MAN ROBBIE FOWLER!
What. A. Player. I’d happily watch (most of) his career all over again.
Lost my mind when he came back, remember refusing to work so I could check the news!!!! Plus I still have that same Fowler 23 home kit he picked out at the end - I always knew we'd be best friends!!!
that turn & finish against steve staunton will always stand out for me and im a man utd fan..my idol growing up legend.
All about the crest! If only players were like that today.. Today's players it's all about the money and social popularity.
Growing up this guy was one of my favourites. Liverpool have had some iconic centre forwards man.
I like how he said that but about legends coz the term is rinsed nowadays
Never asked him about his England career
Can't believe they left out the nasal strip
Hahahaha
Was my hero growing up ⚽️
That Ecrue shirt was 1 of many that I owned and have since lost..In Robbies own words it is quite rare..gutted...
Badge dont matter no more pal. It's all about £££££ nowadays.
really remember the day I went downstairs and saw on the newspaper on the doormat that Robbie was coming back, it was just pure delight. I’ll never really understand why he hardly played for England, such a brilliant finisher.
I've seen the God,
And he wears the Liverpool Red !!!
❤❤❤❤❤
Edit :-
Where's the Mancity kit when he scored the winner vs Manutd ?
Should've included it, Blackburn and Cardiff kits as well..
Hari Sankar and leeds
Shame they didn't go through some of his other clubs, I bet there are some good stories.
typical scouser trying to slip a cheeky few extras away!
no North QLD Fury or Perth Glory Kit. Dissapointed
Get Henrik Larsson on this
Michael Finan great shout!!!!
They did one. It was brilliant.
When people ask me if I believe in God, I always ask how could I not when I've seen him score so many goals?
I was gutted when he left, and so happy when he came back ☺️
Robbie Fowler one of the Strikers in English football!!
Wooow..I actually went to the 6-2 spurs game that's Robbie is referring to..Last game of the season at Anfield...Who would've known that GOD was on the bench that day lol
Fowler was such a natural finisher
Absolute legend Robbie, thanks for the memories. 🙏
Love the content, always look forward to this segment !
Funny story we by accident stayed at the same hotel as the lfc team when they were on tour and we were having breakfast in the hotel and I look over my shoulder and me and my family are like wait a minute is that Robbie Fowler and Ian rush eating breakfast in the table right next to us. So anyways we got our jerseys signed
The mans a Legend!
This deserves more views, a truly punishing striker.
Absolutely deadly in front ov goal! As strikers go I could only imagine what he would b worth in today’s market at least 90 million plus !! Gr8 player🤩
Fowler should have gone to Juventus or something. Not Leeds ... his career nosedived
Memory I'll never forget...I scored my first ever penalty pretending to be this man! That's from a brummie who supports villa, absolute legend!
Aston Villa shirt? Ironic, he used to ALWAYS score a great deal of goals against Villa. Subconsciously maybe?
Fowler was the most naturally gifted finisher the Premier league has ever seen. I remember being at Liverpool in the Kop end when he used to smash goals in every week!!
Steven Morton wouldn’t go as far as ever seen but he was good.
@@thebizness5596 Well he was pal
I love this guy from the Santa Clause movies, never knew he was a footballer...
Robbie will always be "God" but he did get too big for his boots before Houllier moved him on. If he kept his head, he would have been a Legend. He is a legend...but not with a capital L.
Joint manager was partly because of Robbie and the culture at the club at the time. Robbie was a spice boy and did throw his weight around when he should have been respecting the club. Simple as that.
Robbie Fowlers actual footballing ability, is probably the lowest out of him, Owen, Torres, Suarez, and Salah. But the difference between him and them (probably excluding Salah) is that Fowler scored goals, and worked his hardest to be the best he could, was because he was playing for Liverpool, and he wanted Liverpool to win. Owen, Torres, Suarez, their goal was to be the best players they could be, because they wanted to achieve things and win trophies, to elevate their own game and reputation. Not to say they didn't care about their clubs, they all probably cared a lot about whatever club they played for. But that's the difference, Robbie wanted to succeed with Liverpool, he valued the clubs success just as much and maybe more than his own, and that passion and love, allowed him to reach those levels of determination, and that's what brought him up to the level of those players
OMG ... THIS GUY IS MY FAVOURITE PLAYER ... WATCHING HIM PLAY MAKES ME SO .. SO .. SO HAPPY
Those shirts 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Dude it was the90's the small back then was todays XL 😁wbrythjhh was massive
Make the episodes longer, I wanted to hear him talk about the man city kits
Loved him when we played for us aswell top class finisher 👌🏻
God. The greatest natural finisher in English football.
Robbie fowler could of played for ireland, and he was tasted by england
He could of played in 2 world cups for ireland
‘For all those with a red heart can now rejoice, for they have seen God’
Imagine how many shirts they would need if they were doing Mick harford or Clive Allen !! 😂😂
Mr Kipling Iain Dowie🤣🤣
That's a happy thumbnail if ever I saw one 😂
Love robbie remember being in a pub when i heard he had come back to liverpool so happy hes so genuine
2:30 gorgeous kit, that green tinge around the collar made all the difference.
Please do this with Steve McManaman...
Met Robbie few years ago, they say don't meet your heroes, but thank god I did sound man.
Not a Liverpool fan but that cream jersey is serious nostalgia 👌💯
Just pick 2 shirts. Why do they have to be in a burning building? 🔥
One of the most underrated forgotten players of the 90s and early 2000s
I'm a Man Utd fan, and it was this man Mr Fowler that made me snap out of it and learn that u had 2 take defeat on the chest, 1995/96 season" i was only 20 yr young, Pool vs Utd, BANG-BANG...Fowler strike's twice and the Pool win 2-0, and i alway's remember it was then that i stopped goin around in a huff for day's after a match if Utd lost, so ye, that's my wee story about Mr Fowler, and has 2b said he was definitely 1000% one of the TOP TOP finisher's 2 ever play in the Prem Lge
Fowler was an amazing striker!
Robbie speaks so much sense top man
Great format.. good job guys!!
Brilliant, keep it like this, only legends.
