During the first lockdown my doggy developed cancer and underwent chemotherapy. It was so so horrific. Every Tuesday we’d take him to the vets, and because of covid we weren’t allowed in the veterinary practice at all. The vets or nurses would come and take Arthur in, and we’d watch him walk in and most of the time he would really really try to pull away to stay with us. But what really broke my heart was the last couple of times he went, he walked in so defeated, didn’t even look back, and the vet reported he walked himself up the stairs and put himself in the crate. That broke my heart because it was like he had just accepted he had to go through that. The whole experience was horrific, truly horrific, but it’s a happy ending because Arthur has beaten his cancer now, and is back to being his happy self !

The whole room is really nice.. What a lovely cupboard - the precious-memory stuff, and the useful stuff, that was in there, and the fresh new version with space for new purpose .

Then the Sadness of seeing Chi Chi suffering the pain..
It reminded me of how I felt when our two old dogs got aches and pains in their joints and muscles and we had trips to the vets...
The Rollercoaster of emotions we all go through when we Love our Pets so much..

Nadia you make me laugh the way you clean up shoveling clutter from one area to another. I feel like reaching thru my TV and helping you. Just want to take this time to thank you all for taking the 2020 blues away everyday even if it's just for 20 minutes.
Oh my goodness Chi Chi that sad look in your eyes made me cry 😢. I'm so glad both dogs recovered, it's horrible when our pets are ill as they can't tell us how they're feeling.

Loved the transformation, looks so warm & cosy. I'm really liking Kiki's artwork on the walls too. Awww poor Chi Chi, I was honestly holding my breath for Chi Chi. I know how painful it was to hear those 3 possibilities, I started tearing up. 😢 But I'm so glad she had improved in those 24hrs. ❤

I lost my fur baby just before lockdown and it was utterly devastating... watching this had me so worried for you all ... i think chichi is just beautiful the most cuddle-iscious doggie xx
I can’t imagine how awful that must have been. I feel like lockdown is when most people have really really appreciated the value of their pets. I’m so sorry for your loss xx

Dear Velvet Vikki so sorry to hear that. Like you, my beloved labrador passed in August and aged 8, he had been a Godsend during first lockdown, great company while working from home. I have found this second lockdown, which we are nearly out of here in Ireland so hard without him, despite living with two teenage sons. Dogs are such good company around the house and also give us a reason to go out every day and meet people. I hope you get a new fur baby soon. Lots of love Paula

I was crying watching Chi Chi looking so forlorn and in pain, I am so, so pleased that her foot is healing, thank goodness. Kiki, you are such a talented artist, your artwork is bloody brilliant. I love the girls room and it is cosy.

Bless Chi Chi. 2 years ago our cat had a tumour on her front leg and had to have it amputated. It was amazing how she coped with only 3 legs. A few months later my daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 non Hodgkin lymphoma. 6 months of chemo and she was all clear 😃. Well done on doing the “teens room” 💕

Poor Chi Chi I felt so emotional watching this. Having had dogs myself go through similar things I know how Mark would have felt too. I’m so relieved to see she is better now in the up to date lives. I’m not sure if it’s a random ad but when Mark talks about Chi Chi doing a poo outside of Nandos I had an advert pop up of a chocolate Ice cream and scoop! The teen room looks like it’s going to be brilliant. xx

Bin it all, as you just moving stuff to one room to the next. You then will feel less stressed with less stuff around you. Don’t buy anything more may help.
Poor Chi chi and so soon after Toffee was in. Sending love. I have 3 dogs and 9 cats. Could go months and months all ok and then it happens in 3s. In and out of vets for weeks.
OH my God poor ChiChi and poor all of you. My heart goes out to you. Just as I feel I know you all I also feel I know ChiChi and Toffee and it kills me to see them in pain. Thank god she is okay. And Mark, thank you for not getting the whole story into one vlog - we needed to know she was ok. 2020 has been bad enough.
When Nadia starts "cleaning" and organising i just want to jump through the screen and sort it out for her with a skip. You could sell or donate so much stuff.

Knowing chi chi had your love, care, and attention, got me through watching her in pain. By the end, she was smiling and her usual loving self. I wonder if there’s a fox in the garden that is harming both chi chi and toffee. If you had a night cam in the garden you could find out. I’m so impressed with Kiki’ art - two talented artist daughters. Kiki could charge a lot for room decoration with her skills. I thought it completely made the room x
My goodness I thought my family home was messy so at least I’m not the only one. Well done on making the effort to sort through your stuff. Poor chi chi being so poorly but at least she is all better now bless her. My cat Billie was poorly three months after falling on some glass in our garden luckily he is all recovered now bless him. Keep up the good positive work Mark and Nadia 😊😊😊🤗🤗🤗🙏

Always makes me sad when first Toffee and then chi chi was poorly but thankfully they are fine now ❤👍. Love the super cool teens room , although I really felt for Mark all that mess in the kitchen but so funny too.
Omgosh, you guys just crack me up trying to get rid of stuff one room to other 😅 Thank you xx just saw the end poor chi chi. All her yelping in the other room was vet and nurses looking at the paw making sure no foxtail seedlings 🌱 stuck in between paws also palpating it and looking for abcess etc. As they have to make sure 😊. Just know cos I used to work at the royal vet college in camden many many years ago. How old is chi chi? Looks like they checked her out thoroughly tho. Or she may have sprained it jumping up or down off something .

That made me cry poor chi chi,hopefully on the road to recovery,I dont know if its not Toffee feeling poorly its Chi chi but we are like that with Amber our 14yr old Golden Retriever our hesrt goes out to every time theres somthing wrong as they just cant tell you.🐶🐕

Chi chi is such a beautiful dog ...so happy she's ok that was edge of your seat stuff ...dogs really are the best friend you can have..I lost my teddy pomeranium and I will always have him on my heart ....i forget sometimes that he's gone and then realise he has ...love you my teddy boy . ❤...look after che che and toffy because they love you so much as you do every thing for them and with out a human they could not exist so you are their hero ....❤❤

Nadia, you need a MAJOR clear out & measuring blood pressure always have your arm resting on something, not mid air as it effects the results - just a nursing tip.

Oh poor Chi Chi. My fluffy boy is so terrified of the vets they give me sleeping tablets to give him before I take him in. It wouldn't be too bad if he was small but he's a Shollie and I can't carry him.
