I can't help but feel excited if the Season 9 "leaks" are real. I'm not really looking forward to a particular change, but rather, how the game will play out in its entirety with so many different changes being implemented. Seems like every character will be far tankier which could be a good or bad thing.

They’re still going to be possible? They’re increasing the damage on the vast majority of abilities to compensate the health buffs. In reality the patch is just nerfing support healing across the board without directly nerfing it (god forbid they directly nerfed support heals; supports would lose it)

From what I've noticed from the leaks, most of the damage being "increased" is for tanks. In addition, every single hero's health is being increased. While these changes indirectly make supports less "lethal", I believe it will make it harder for dps to get picks and make plays. Then again, we'll have to see how it plays out to know for sure.

Don't see how asking for actual skillfull follow ups is "skill issue". Majority of ults pretty much whipe out the whole team.

so called "follow ups" now don't need skill because majority of ults do the majority of the work and that's my point.

I might actually agree with people not wanting ults to be as strong as they are now. It's not fun being one shot by junktire without being able to do much. Same for genji nano. The counterplay is very minimal there. It's just frustrating to play against. Same for any other one shot like Widow, hanzo or junk mine combo.
Im sure this will negatively affect a lot of characters which will need to be balanced accordingly which might take a long time.. Im still not sure if it's the right solution but it's an attempt.

If the leaks are true, the biggest change will not be the ultimate cost but the increased sustain every character gets. Every character will be getting a health buff as well as passive regen.
From what I've noticed, most of the damage buffs will be for tanks rather than dps.
