I have my hydroconquest for a year now. An absolute bang for the buck. Only complain from my pov is the crown guard. They make hand winding hard, for my chubby fingers at least. Nice video anyways. Very thorough
Another one you should take a good look is the USA Exclusive Hydroconquest, with ceramic bezel, in steel with blue ceramic, grey gunmetal pvd, and black pvd, with bezel style that looks like the modern Longines Hydroconquest
All eta movement used by swatch group brands are in house, it became outsource movement if it used by brands outside swatch group. Same with hublot unico developed by fabrique du temp, zenith defy 1/100th chronograph made by heuer which now integrated with fabrique du temp, zenith el primero used on LV/Hublot watches, Romain Gauthier movement for Chanel, hermes watches made with parmigiani fleurier movements, etc. So it's still in house
This is a watch that definitely looks better on a strap. When you first showed it on the bracelet, somehow it looked just too much on your wrist. I don't know how else to say it, but it was too much blacked-out bling. When you put it on the green rubber strap, I was like, "Now, I see why he likes this watch". By the way, you should add a link to your bracelets. I know everyone wears a watch to their liking, but you shouldn't be BDSMing your wrist like that. Not unless your wrist has a safe word 😉
Whoa. Never seen that one before. Looks pretty slick. What a great brand.

Great deal! Do you know if it's DLC or PVD? I like it a lot on the black bracelet. Reminds me of my SLA061.
Hi. Its PVD on this one.
Longines doesn’t produce any in-house movements. All Longines movements are made by ETA. There is a dedicated floor at ETA for Longines.
That’s why I call it technically inhouse as the L888 are produced only for Longines.
