Glad to see you buy something other than golf clubs and video games. Gets boring after awhile. Watch...Pro Picker or Genies Thrifts. Good information on what toys, dishes, glass wear, clothes, purses and so much more. They make good profit as well. I bought a huge tote full of slot cars and track at an auction for $1 and made a very good profit on it all. It was quite a bit of work, but worth it!
Loved the Boy Scout sale! My grandson’s troop just held their garage sale, and I loved seeing all the scouts in their uniforms working at it! I think they were having as much fun as the customers!

23:40 weird shady couple. You encounter ALL kinds of people going to sales. I once had a lady around 65 stealing from my garage sale, I had all her purse emptied with a huge smile, & my stuff was everywhere. Then I told her to "git gone" "walk of shame"! lol

It’s strange I buy just about anything I can make a profit on but just don’t buy video games or systems. My problem is I’ve never had the patience to play them. I wouldn’t even know how any of the the systems work. Now the slot cars that’s right up my alley.

You should have asked the price on the cards. For a few bucks you might find a decent card that you can grade
You didn't buy the slot cars?? I have sold individual cars for over $100 each! Some are worth a ton of money.

Maybe by looking more in to pokemon cards you will bye them more often especially went you grade the card they get pretty expensive

Hey brother, today is my first day going to yard sales and I’m wondering when you look up sold comps, what are the apps that you use to look up sold comps besides ebay?
Google lens, mercari also lets you filter by sold listings.

I believe the recommendation is typically after having 25 items. There's a whole math problem to if you'll derive the savings from the insertion fees and final value fees you need to figure out to decide which level is right for you. Also, something to note is that ebay store subscriptions are cheaper if you do an annual subscription, but that locks you in for that time frame.

I didn't end up getting the box unfortunately. A loud plane was overhead so I edited that part out.

I literally didn't hear him say $100. Going back over it I hear it now. He said 75 right afterwards. I'll note he did call me about some other stuff he had in storage, we didn't work out a deal. But, he obviously felt ok enough with the first deal to call again.
