I appreciate these videos. However as a tourist my crowd noise level of tolerance has declined over the years. This place sounds noisy as can be. To the point that it turns me off. I want to see more LV casinos with acoustic tiling mounted in the shadows. I've gone to local buffets away from Vegas only to find them so noisy that I've never gone back. Sometimes it isn't always about the food. It's about whether or not you can hear yourself think.
Hmmm. This food is interesting, but not interesting enough to me at those prices. But I appreciate you two trying them out and being honest! I personally don't think lobster needs a whole lot of sauce/ seasoning. Its natural sweetness and texture is the treat. 😊👍
You hit upon an interesting topic. And that is : when you have a featured item in any dish, say lobster.... for the life of me, I can't figure out why you would want to literally drown that delicate fresh lobster flavor.. chefs are doing this ( error ) more often, then I like. Make a simple delicate sauce that compliments the lobster and sparingly add it ..
Definitely a different type of sushi but probably really fresh and high quality. We know Derek loves his fried chicken and that’s where the real facial expressions come out
He could never be a professional gambler with those facial expressions. The first time I saw it I thought he was having a seizure. I saw his eyes roll back in his head and I thought oh no. But now I know when he likes something his face let’s us know. Lol

That first item ya'll tried If I wasn't watching I would have thought Catherine was doing a Campbell's soup commercial It seemed to be that good. As far as $32.00 for the lobster rolls, well it is Vegas. But much appreciated the info. I used to never ever eat Sushi until my son "The Cajun Ninja" talked me into going to a place his friend owns called "ZEN'S" and now I love Sushi. It's funny how we say we do not eat something that we never even tried until we try it and realize "What was I thinking" Great Video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I knew Sushi Samba from New York and South Beach. Very lively and busy restaurants. Both of those locations closed before The Blip. Good to know there is a location in Vegas still open. Thank you for sharing your dining experience.
That 1st tuna "roll" looked liked a dressed up taco, yummy! I do like the idea of shrimp tempura in a hand roll, but the lobster roll was too pricey for me for what you get
It looks beautiful but I'll take the price as a warning. I love Makino or one of the all you can eat places in Chinatown too much to waste a sushi meal where one roll is the price of the whole meal. Love watching the two of you and at least you weren't eating 11 fish sandwiches in the car. You are so good at variety! Love it.
Derek when you were eating that handroll, I wasn't sure you were going to like it because you did not give a hint in your face, but you did! Both the lobster roll and the hand roll look really good. I stay at the Venetian a lot but do not ever remember seeing Sushi Samba. Must be in an area I rarely go to. That is what I get for getting stuck at the crap tables. Now I will look it up. I figure I have eaten at about a third of the restaurants there, looking forward to eating at most of the rest.
